I got punished for THIS

Ok I just had a game where bunch of toxic people were taxing my lane and telling me to die in fire, slit my wrists and that people like me should die irl etc. It was really toxic team and I didn't want to try my fullest cause they were constantly bitching at me. At the end of the game I reported the 2 that were most toxic out of them. And then they reported me and I got punished. For reals. Here's my chat log. I honestly was the nicest person in the whole team and I get punished. This is kinda f'ked up.

These lines right here, are enough for me to 110% justify what your ban/restriction.

This is a disgusting mentality, you have 3 other teammates. If they have done nothing as well, why are they punished? You're upset with Udyr, not the others. (MF was possibly a by product of YOUR toxicity)

If I had it my way I'd report a million times till you were permabanned for the other guys you lost the game for.

You were expressing a negative attitude because of their remarks, and later down the chat you resorted to harassment (report threats, insults, etc.). Despite what your allies try to tell you, there’s no good reason to fuel the flames. Instead, mute them so there’s no way you’ll see those messages.

As for reporting them, resorting to a mute would typically mean that enough has happened to consider a report. Again, whether or not whatever they said is worse, you should not bite back. You have tools to avoid such conflict. On top of that, ignoring the rude people is sometimes a more effective counterargument than not. By muting alone, you’re telling them: “What you’re saying is disruptive to my experience. It doesn’t matter to me at this point.”

I'm just a tiny bit torn between two places with this one. While you weren't that toxic, you did say some things that could be perceived as a bit too much.

This is fairly negative and probably what caused your punishment. Also, keep in mind that you don't usually get chat restricted after only one game. The system targets both **consistency **and severity, meaning that prolonged exhibition of negative attitude could end up amounting to a strike. This is probably what happened in your case.
