PLAYING JAYCE ADC GETS YOU BANNED/

So I got done playing a Jayce ADC in ranked, which I play cus i suck at last hitting, everyone fed so they had to put the blame on someone and they chose me. My support was being toxic (he decided to roam and was calling me out that I was the one that was roaming so idk if he troll or dumb). We had a Morg top, Malz mid, Yi jg , jayce and blitz in the bottom. They were literally freaking out seeing a jayce as an ADC telling me GET OUT OF BOT YOU TROLL! and other nonsense. I suspected they were all going to report me cus I went Jayce ADC and the Blitz spent all game AFK texting in jg bushes about how "jayce is trolling" and "he is not roaming" (was 15 mins into the game). So I said "report this blitz" cus he was literally AFK typing. So Blitz and his friends decided to ban me I was queuing up for the next game when all of a sudden I get suspended for normally talking in a competitive environment (vvvvv this kind of behavior is more than common in the depths of Iron II ) that happened last night.

Here is what I was prompted with.

Game 1 Pre-Game skeeewoosh: ty skeeewoosh: not really i knew2 skeeewoosh: ye skeeewoosh: lol jk In-Game skeeewoosh: I FORGOT I GOT SMITE skeeewoosh: ur lucky im trying out new builds skeeewoosh: pusy cant fight -------- ( you could tell was being sarcastic) skeeewoosh: I DIDNT NEED HIM skeeewoosh: im legit trying out a new build skeeewoosh: jax is so lame noob champ skeeewoosh: there a duo ----- ( get a group of friends together and you could ban anyone ;) ) skeeewoosh: look at this yasuos score ----- (he was literally 0/0/0 30 mins when there was a 12/1/3 on the enemy team) skeeewoosh: its called playin like a lil bitch ------------------- I was trying to be funny but I noticed the joke didn't sit well with them skeeewoosh: notice the lack of tanks on our team? ---- CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM skeeewoosh: why not go for a more tankier build yas --- I was sincerely trying to help skeeewoosh: not in this scenario skeeewoosh: this yasuo is seriously a lil pussy not going in when we have jax alone ---- (This yasuo would sit and watch in a bush as I died) skeeewoosh: 1v1 me skeeewoosh: someone get yasuo and his butt buddy some help at life ----- I got a couple of LOLs from my team with this one liner skeeewoosh: still waiting for that 1v1 skeeewoosh: true skeeewoosh: i wanted jg tbh skeeewoosh: dont play it safe skeeewoosh: play on the edge skeeewoosh: word Post-Game skeeewoosh: i shoulda went elise skeeewoosh: i wasnt inting skeeewoosh: i have the most kills on our team --- I did the best on my team skeeewoosh: ... skeeewoosh: so skeeewoosh: 1v1 me ------ ( We ended up doing a custom 1v1 and became friends after all was done) skeeewoosh: right fucking now skeeewoosh: everyone fed skeeewoosh: ya tripping skeeewoosh: saying like jax was the only problem

I played a game with said duo before this posted game and it was full of toxicity not on my part but by the duo I don't have the disclosures for this game.

I'm in iron where this so called toxicity is just the tip of the iceberg. I literally see crude explicit jokes being thrown at a daily basis. This game is full of toxic robots who get butt hurt at the mere mention of constructive criticism who then have the power to put the players in a state of dismay.

CLASSIC RIOT

TL;DR:

  •         Played Jayce ADC. 

  •         Whole team fed. 

  •         My sit in bush support decided to let out his frustration out on me by banning me. 

  •         Get this suspension for a game where I was being bullied by a duo from a previous game and in retaliation decided to give them a taste 
          of there own medicine.

The title is so misleading. Playing Jayce didn't get you banned. Flaming got you banned regardless of what champ you play.

Are there any other games on the report card?

Is this log edited? Because I don't see this line or any mention of Blitz...

You were flaming the yasuo. I don't think you can claim you were joking when your tone cannot be conveyed over text and if it looks like flame, sounds like flame, the IFS probably thinks it's flame.

First of all;

No, it doesn't.

Secondly, the fact that your punishment came with chat logs proves that you weren't punished for supposed gameplay misbehavior, but rather, chat misbehavior; ergo, your choice to play Jayce bottom lane doesn't factor into your punishment whatsoever.

If you were punished for gameplay misbehavior (trolling, intentional feeding), the IFS would have given you a link to the match(es) in question which resulted in your punishment.

Moving on to your chat logs;

If you have to insert your own commentary into your chat logs, that's typically a sign that you know what the problem is, and are trying to justify it. For that reason, I'm going to make a point to look at your chat logs without your commentary.

General negativity, in the form of needless complaints. A minor issue, but still an issue worth noting.

Pointing out a teammate's score and making negative, insulting remarks. I could see pointing out a teammate's score and calling them a beast for wrecking face, but, this is not such an example, and you should know better than to be making comments like this.

This is not constructive criticism. This is ragging on the team comp well after the point where it could've been helped.

Again; insulting your teammates is not acceptable behavior.

Unnecessary and negative.

And, then, most of the post-game lobby consists of negative attitude; bragging, boasting, and accusing your team of intentionally feeding.

If you got banned for this chat log, then that means you've had previous punishments before. That you didn't learn from those previous punishments is on you.

You should take a moment to look at your chat logs objectively, and understand why what you said wasn't acceptable, rather than trying to deflect your punishment onto baseless, arbitrary assumptions (like that you got banned for playing Jayce bot) or trying to insert commentary to justify your misbehavior.

Fighting fire with fire just sets the whole damn building ablaze. You should know better than to retaliate and stoop to toxic people's lows.

i can't tell which is worse: your definition of "normally talking" or your excuses for blatant toxicity

The fact that you gave us a chatlog proves that you did not get banned for playing jayce adc. Your title is a lie.

Do NOT type, and you wont get banned. You are not allowed to even joke about things or write words what resembles other words, or anything. If you want to be safe, do NOT type.

I don't think riot's IFS takes champion/role into account when handing out bans, only the text content of your logs. Riot only hands off the text content of what you said in that game when you are reported, nothing more nothing less. And I don't think you were reported because you went Jayce ADC...

Look up the summoners code. You will find that you obviously broke some rules that have nothing to do with picking jayce adc. mainly shit about not insulting other players.
