false 14 day suspension

So I played a bot game with a friend who was rather new to the game and this guy said that he couldn't see names and asked what account he was on, so I repeated his name which was probably what got me banned "coon coon tie" and as soon as I had done that the game went on a little while longer before he started to spam the chat with very offensive language, repeatedly calling me a "%%%%%%" and telling me I'm going to get banned. I thought it was funny until I actually got a 14 day suspension for some reason and I suppose that entire time he was actually just baiting me on a level 1 account to get me banned. I would like an appeal for my ban because I feel as if I definitely don't deserve getting banned for a reason as dumb as this.

For starters; file a Support Ticket, and explain your situation to them. There's at least some possibility that you can have your punishment overturned on account of being baited into zero-tolerance chat.

Beyond that, though, you should really learn to think before you type. Don't believe people who ask you to repeat their screennames, no matter what the reason. If anyone asks you to repeat something or say something; Do not do it. Full stop.

Next time you see someone trying to encourage people to repeat their screenname or something like that, just tell people not to do it, mute the baiting player, and report them post game for Inappropriate Screenname or whichever category seems appropriate for their baiting offense; I'd imagine Negative Attitude would be logical, but, since it's not a common case, to my knowledge, I wouldn't know.

Best of luck with your Support Ticket, but please, don't let this happen again.
