When you ask the enemy team for reports on another player...

I'm just wondering... Are you people asking for reports because you're toxic and just wanna stir the pot? Is it maybe because the person you want to report is actually innocent so you feel like you must rally up the whole lobby to report him? When I'm playing League and I see someone say "report -this player- for blah blah" I simply choose to report the player asking for reports... (knowing that they probably nagged the player they wanna report) I mean is there any good reason to ask for them? If you don't feel like your report is enough then shouldn't you just stfu before getting a harassment report?

Hello there!

Asking for reports is seen as harassment. If they further continue that they will be hit with chat restrictions.

Asking for a report is reportable.

Reporting people as a toxic player, only brings more attention to yourself.

Back in the days, the system used to work based on number of reports. That system was changed 4 years ago and people still haven't gotten out of that old paradigm.

I understand your point but what if a person is running down mid, only building tears and giving the enemy team kills. Is it still a bad thing to report and get rid of a toxic player so they can't ruin other peoples gaming experience?

No. 1 report is just as good as 9 reports: it only takes 1 to trigger a review of one's chat.
