How to stop 90% of the toxicity in league ft. Easy Solutions

Ranked is literally a cesspool of flame and toxicity. This is 90% caused by the competitive nature forcing people to tryhard and get angry when their team doesn't. However, as a gold player I've noticed that the moment you pass gold, the amount of flame becomes a joke in comparison to just two divisions previous, let alone lower down the elo ladder. It's not a coincidence that gold is where the flame dies down either, because gold is where you get an (Exclusive) free skin at the end of season. Now, telling people "Either git gud or you don't get a skin" is going to make a lot of people extremely toxic and abusive towards teams that don't help them git gud for the skin. Doesn't even matter if the skin is for a champ they play, they just want to say they were good enough to get there. I know personally, I'm one of those people who was toxic as christ until Gold V and then went back to normal. As such, I'm going to offer an easy solution that will only piss off people who are toxic anyway so it's a win/win situation, and that is:

**Award the end of season skin based on participation rather than skill. **

What I mean by this is, instead of saying "Get gold or no skin 4 u", simply award it based on number of ranked games played. I'd put a good number at 200 ranked games a season gets you that seasons skin. The whole point of the skin is to commemorate your achievements in that season, not give you bragging rights so you can talk down to silver and bronze players for not being good enough to get it. If you really wanted to award players on skill you'd actually give plats and diamonds something exclusive to tryhard for as well, so I know that's not the point of ranked. This would lower the bronze/silver toxicity tenfold by itself. Nobody cares about getting gold, even Riot doesn't care about gold or they wouldn't have removed the elo decay for it. No, they care about getting a free skin. They just tryhard and flame all the way there to get it. This is a free2play game, Riot you make your money off of people wanting to play. When silver and bronze are filled with toxicity nobody wants to play your game. With this solution you still get people being competitive for elo and a border, but once you remove the incentive of free exclusive stuff based on tryharding you take away 90% of the toxicity right there. This won't help the toxic trash in plat+ who already don't have an incentive and are toxic anyway but they're also only at most 5% of the playerbase. Every single player below gold would benefit from this, and 200 games is still enough to say you spent a lot of time on the game that season and deserve something to show for it. You can't troll 200 ranked games either without getting punished, so nobody can exploit or bot their way into an exclusive reward either. Bonus: All those smurfs that low elo players pay to boost them to gold? Gone.

I know this is a wall of text but I'm trying very hard to fix the main source of toxicity in your game and this solution doesn't hurt anyone. When the toxic masses in low elo ranked stop being toxic over tryharding for a free skin they stop being toxic in normals too. Then normals stop being toxic. Then ARAMs stop being toxic. When the mentality that fosters toxicity disappears from your game, it'll slowly affect every game mode and every playerbase.

i think a better compromise would be make it so instead of number of ranked games played. rather then achieving gold make it so a player has to either make gold or get 500 wins

You don't even know paragraphs. Or indents. Could hardly read this. Downvoted, comment back when you actually know how to write
