Champion Select Vote System

I've experienced a number of games where a "troll" in champion select would create havoc before the game even starts. It would be nice if we had a voting system that allowed us to "dodge" the game with 4 votes, which would not count against the team. In lower ranks, this happens far too often.

I understand that some people might use this as a way to dodge games if a sub-par player is on their team, so a system where you need four votes would lessen that to a degree. Riot could also add some sort of system to analyze chat and the champ selection vs. lane selection to identify "trolls" and allow the team to dodge.

Too many ways to both abuse and work around such a system.

Abuse: As you stated, players would use this to dodge when they feel like someone is sub-par. This doesn't only include skill though, but also for perceived off-meta decisions. Teemo Mid? Time to call a dodge vote. Soraka top? Time to dodge. You underestimate people's willingness to dodge instead of playing what they perceive to be a risky game.

Strangely enough, this thought process would also carry forward to the point where all 5 players on the team might agree to a free dodge via kicking someone. Such as in cases where they were clearly out-picked or several players announce that their 1-trick champion was banned.

Work around: The troll queues with someone. That little measure would completely defeat the system.

The troll picks a normal champion for their roll, then just trolls once in the game. A troll is not obligated to announce they are trolling in champ select. Should the vote-kick feature become a thing, knowing the system exists a troll would just wait until you couldn't kick them.
