I recently had a game on league were me and my cousin were playing Unranked draft, it was for fun, he was visiting, we had to pray as we are a religious family (specifically muslim), and so were late for the beginning farm, we came back were doing bad, then he had to leave because his mother came unexpectingly, the whole game I dealt with the fact they were going to report him because he had no choice to leave, I got so angry I started swearing, and they said they'll report me too, I was pissed off, I hope the system doesn't ban his account as he just started it recently, and I dont wanna lose everything I worked hard for, I am just wondering if theres anything I can do to explain riot the situation if we get banned

Waiting until after your religious obligation before queuing up wasn't an option?

If this is a one off, you won't be punished.

If you do this consistently you would be punished.

well, if all your cousin did was afk, he would likely get Low Priority Queue at the worst. If he doesn't afk often or at all, then nothing will happen. If he himself did not flame, then who cares if someone reported him? LeaveBuster is automatic whether he gets reported or not so the threat of "reporting for afk" is meaningless (I always had a good laugh at these because it's not like if he didn't get reported, he would dodge LeaveBuster lol).

As for you, how would Rito verifies your story? I can sympathize with you (although it's not like the praying session was unexpected for a muslim). If you do get punished, I don't see why you should be let off when no one getting leniency for being flamed for other things (and these are verifiable stories such as in-game flaming) either. It would open a door to "justification" that Rito will never open.

He's not gonna get banned for leaving, Leaver Buster will pick it up and if it happens a lot, then there will be queue time penalties (I think). If this happens, it will be absolutely, unquestionably well deserved for behaving this way enough to trigger the system. If this was a one time situation, then nothing will come of it. As for you cursing your teammates out for being rightfully angry for you guys not showing up in time and him leaving early, that's something that can eventually turn into a chat restriction and eventually to a ban if it keeps happening.

When you mean swear how bad was it? if it's your first time you can always send a ticket to riot support to let them know your situation and that you promise to keep your behavior in check and they might reduce the sentence on your ban if you do get one, same goes for your friend too.
