the New Client chat censorship is just ridiculous

Apparently I can't use half the words because they are offensive on some other language...

RIOT PLS can you tell me why "kak" is censored *** in the new client!? Since in Bulgarian it means "How" and believe it or not "cyka" is one of the ways you can transcribe "click" as we can't type in Cyrillic and it is also banned! I don't care if it means something rude in one of the 200+ world languages. I think this is just stupid. Either leave the option to write in Cyrillic or keep it only to obscenities in English. I just wonder how many other words you banned.

Too funny, why do you even care. Just mute all and play the game! No one wants to sit there and answer a question when they are trying to win a match! So I highly doubt if any cares about you asking Kak "how"? in game!?!?

But seeing the word "kak" means "shit" as well I can see why it is blocked. Get over it. "Shit" happens. lmfao

Well, i a gree, this new client just sucks. Many words in romanian are censored even if they're not offensive at all. like adressing terms and things like that. Riot, get a grip!

Fun is censored as **n, when used as the name of a Mastery page. I have not tested other areas.

Also "kao" gets censored ,i'm Serbian and it's a common filler word , also i'm curious in which language is it actually offensive?

Apparently "hgh" is also censored, short for human growth hormone. Guess they don't want their customers making mad gainz and adding extra roid rage to the game.Kled

I realize that this thread is suuuuper old, but I just felt the need to comment here.

Riot isn't censoring offensive words in "other languages." TenCent Games (which owns 10% of Riot Games, and is in turn controlled by the Chinese government) has demanded that Riot censor things China wants censored. Which is usually political - not just restricted to things that are merely offensive. China doesn't allow its citizens to have free speech, and as it buys up more companies, we'll start to see more of its effects.
