Why do Players get chat bans and get permabanned for defending themselves

Toxic players will treat you like shit, but if you say anything back to them ... instant chat ban.... or permanently banned. You can have 9 people rally against you straight up fucking bully you and if you'd don't mute them and respond you are the one that gets the chat ban, lose your honor points. This game is past becoming a joke. why add chat feature that lets people verbally abuse the shit out of you then ban you for getting pissed off about it. what is this shit? "Offensive language" reports..... uhhhhh cause gamers keep there vocabulary to a G Rating. We are banning people for the wrong shit. Why not ban the asshole that Trolled ADC or MID when they had Support- And intentionally let you think they are going to peel for you then they purposely back off let you die then take the kill mean while your having a shit game having to be at the mercy of some asshole on your team. In essence turning it into a 4v6. We all know the scenario , your bitchmade if you say you've never witnessed this - [ Support autofilled... asks you for ADC role. You tell them no... they go "oh ok thanks anyways " Then they pick a MID AP champion steal farm and start taking kills forcing you to either peel for them or lose the game wtf...If i wanted to play a support champion i wouldn't of picked an ADC role..... I don't want to have a shit game as an add because my "support" is being a cry baby. ] Why not pull up logs from the lobby or post lobby. Yeah sure you can mute people. You can also not say anything to that person. that still doesn't stop the fact someone is purposely trolling your game just because they don't say anything to report them for and they walk away scott free. Im sure the board has already had this topic but I'm not digging threw thousands of threads to find it. Im also sure some offended holy rolling bible thumpers will comment on the language. Someone will also play the devils advocate and defend these cock suckers that do that. NO ONE WILL SIDE WITH THIS VIEW. League is going down the toilet its becoming about money and profit not fun. Im out. People are so weak and offended. The wrong people do get punished. someone can do virtually nothing wrong if enough people report them from a premade lobby ... chat restriction when did the gaming community get so weak... and offended... and just soft... soft like baby shit. At least in heroes of the storm if someone is talking shit to you you can at least tell them to get eat a bag of penis and move on to the next game with out worrying about a ban. Don't feed me some summoners code bullshit because the people that follow it are passive aggressive and just cocksuckers you want to throat punch. I'm fully aware this will probably ban my account but oh well. Free speech free consequences i will flex my right to do so and take the actions accordingly but banning me off the board or banning my account just proves I'm right we are living in a generation where people are pussified and just intolerable to be around. Cant play a game with out someone taking offense, and you can't play a game on league keeping to yourself with out people trash talking if your not playing on a challenger tier level. People are scripting now there is videos of it everywhere. How about you fix all the 3rd party exploits. and worry about people not following roll call and trolling the game instead of "Language" and chat bans and putting them on summoners island. which you say doesn't exist but i have seen first hand it does. Friends who were B5 make new accounts skill level is no difference win ratio around the same give or take a few pegs here and there and they are gold... but the account that is B5 has 0 honor on profile and is stuck with other players of that "nature" and you lose games just from afk " LOW PRIORITY QUE" Means you are stuck in that elo for life. You can say it doesn't exist idgaf i have seen this first hand. 100% sold no rebuttal can take this away.

You don't get banned for defending yourself, that's a myth.

You get banned for coming back at a toxic person with your own toxicity. If a toxic player says: "Hey you f**got, KYS, learn to fucking play." you got 2 options:

1.) Defend yourself: "Hey man, chill, no need to become toxic." If he responds with more toxicity, you mute him. 2.) "Defend yourself": "Fuck you ni**er, kill your whole family and then kys."

Option 1 does nothing (proof: I never got banned or chat restricted). Option 2 gets you straight to a 14 day or permaban.

what is it you are "defending"? Is your physical being or properties in present and immediate danger (this is the legal definition of self-defense in most states) and you do not have a ready avenue of escaping said harm?

Dawg I just posted something similar to this Im so done with league. I have to agree with I farm naked here because the people who are TRULY toxic and start this whole thing go game to game and get a small rise out of someone and then gets everyone to gang up on them to hide their own toxicity. Its like a cop speeding past you 20 miles above the limit so you go 10 mph above and then the cop pulls you over. Like wtf is this shit. We got more problems to worry about. Welll.... that got a little too long and lacked any spacing or grammar to really be able to read that without feeling like I'm reading the ramblings of a 5th grader.

But! I will say, I wish Riot had better means of detecting trolls and inters n what not. However, I don't know how one would get banned for simply defending themselves.

Are you sure you don't mean insulting people back, after being insulted by them? Cuz that's not really defending yourself, that's just called children fighting.

All the problems you speak of, are the things I get pissed about in the real world. Comedians making apologies for jokes that "offended" some fucking overly sensitive person, who is probably just feeling good about their self that they're "defending" some race of people, or sex, or whatever they got offended about.

In league however, I actually don't give a shit what they do. I'm not into fighting with anonymous people online, ESPECIALLY in the middle of a game. A game that I play for the strategy, the mechanics, basically everything BUT the God damn chat feature.

So it doesn't bother me that people get banned because someone insulted their skills and they got pissed and told em to kys. It's childish, completely petty, nerdy bullshit. Oooh I'm not good at this game? Awww poor you having me on your team. You're so good at video games, cool guy.

Anyways, just quit the game.
