Just had 4 bots with me, and last 10 or so games, min 1-3 bots, it is really frustrating.. playing this game for years now (have around 4k games played, playing against AI only for relaxation from busy life) and this is breaking point for me, no point in playing anymore, no joy. Please do something about this
i literally just queued into co op vs ai just to get 4 bots on my team this is just dum every game 3-4 bots feeding midlane riot pls
I have the same issue, for the last couple weeks at least, I've had bots with me in COOP while it is supposed to be 5 players vs Bots. Some games it was 2 or 1 bot, but what pissed me the most is the times where I get 4 allied bots that ruin the entire game by going all mid and pushing all the way under the tower while minions aren't there, feeding the ennemy the entire game.
What is wrong with COOP Riot? do something please.

after playing for four years almost every day i must say lately the bots in co-op vs ai are killing all the fun, especially if you have four of them with you it's a guaranteed loss on daytime there are less bots, maybe one to three but at night there are mostly four ... what happened to this great game ?
RIOT will not do anything to prevent this. this is a problem wich happens a lot in the last 4 years at least and little to nothing has been done. Players VS Bots is the ugly duckling of League of Legends play modes, the only time it got some love was when they introduced new AI's to new champs, otherwise it was only the same 10 or 12 champs. I just came here after 2 games with 7 bots on my team (1st game 4 bots, 2nd game 3 bots) whats the point on keeping this gamemode? you guys could use this game mode to prevent ping issues with players, advising them to make at least 1 of these games to understand if you had some sort of lag, but not even that.
TL DR, this game mode always had bots in it and always will. its just not in riot's plans because it has no visibility.
Would just like to add my support for this comment - having had the same issue recently (and yes times where I was the only human there).
It seems like people are running bots on the co-op v ai game mode to level up accounts which they then sell (on ebay for instance).
This has completely ruined this as a way of trying out new champs without playing a full game.
Lately for me I have hardly had any bots in coop games (which I do once in awhile if I need a first win and don't have time for more than 1). I'm actually shocked. I remember when leveling my 2nd acct, it was 2-3 bot every game, but that was last year.
Just lost a bot game with 4 bots on my team.
I wouldn't even be mad about it if they weren't worthless just like intro bots.
I mean, even intro bots put a bigger fight before dying randomly.

In my last co op vs ai games there were at least 2 leveling bots.
This is so annoying! I wanted to try out Blitzcrank in coop vs ai, but I was with 4 bots. I first thought they were just new players, so I tried chatting with them, even to the point of saying, press enter to chat. Eventually i got a 27-1 Karthus.. Why is someone twisted enough to even use these programs and make us waste our time?!
Leveling bot too ... what is this ... !! pretty easy to see those bots .. do something, remove them ? Ban their accounts ?
I mean this was posted 2 months ago, I've been power reporting those bot accounts and riot still hasn't said or done anything... GG
Can completely sympathize and agree with pretty much all the points in this thread. I remember about 8 months to a year ago that while there were bots in co op vs. ai, they usually only plagued beginner and not intermediate. Fast forward to last night and in an intermediate game where I loaded in with a friend to help reteach him (since he hadn't played in years) all of the other players were bots and fed like crazy.
It's really, really unfortunate to see this, as co op vs ai games are meant to help people actually learn the game. Now they're just as much a desolate wasteland as the tutorial. Even if co op vs ai isn't directly tied to the more competitive aspects of the game, letting this problem go unaddressed is toxic as all getout to pretty much any new or inexperienced players. It's liable to slow any growth to the playerbase an absolute crawl and is basically Riot shooting themselves in the foot.

Honestly, the bots don't bother me too much. When you get four of them, that sucks, but I have even managed to carry four bots to a victory (once). But if they really wanted to fix this, they could do it very, very simply. Even the newest of players is bound to randomly get at least one kill in a game. I don't think I've ever seen a bot player get a kill.
So they just need to deny xp and ip to anyone who goes 0/?/?. Zero kills, zero xp/ip. Bot programs will quite literally be worthless.
Just to proof you wrong, i have played a lot of intermediate AI games recently. Yes, for new players, it could be really hard to win games like that -> play vs easy bots, these are way easier to beat. No, if you are just playing vs AI to get ur first win bonus and you actually understand how bot mechanics work, even 1 vs 5 intermediate AI games are literally no challenge for a player, that has some experience and little play skill.

As you can see in picture 4, the only part of the game, that has little challenge, is the early game, when the bots actually have more teamgold than you as a single player have. After like 10 minutes, assuming decent farming and a few kills, you start outscaling bots by far. As you can see in picture 4, after 9 minutes of farming i totally stomp these bots just by having 2 items which snowballs into a 15k lead at the end of the game at 25 minutes.
And since there are 4 bots in the midlane, feeding one of the bots, just come by every 3-4 minutes to get the shutdown to make the breakpoint even earlier then 9 minutes.

Even a 40 kills Intermediate bot will NEVER win the game.

Not all players play PVP. Most all PVP players still play Co-Op vs AI.
PVP games are very stressful and tense. Make a mistake and you get flamed. Your team starts to lose and a person is needed to blame.
Many of us ONLY play Co-Op vs AI to enjoy the game, learn the new champs we get, or try out different item combinations.
Then you get in a game with 2 advanced players, each playing a BOT. They send a BOT to intentional feed other lanes, or use a BOT Ashe to steal your CS so they can level faster and kill everything.
Players that start to master some champions want to test their skill and play a FAIR GAME with 4 other REAL players.
But players are using BOTs to 1) Heal their champion, 2) Partially damage the minions and enemy champs so they can get easy kills, 3) Intentionally feed other lanes so those enemy champs are harder to kill by a HONEST player, and 4) Sending their bot to steal as much CS as possible to slow other players advancement...
Riot should send a message that this is a form of GRIEFING, and ban accounts that do it.
Allow everybody to enjoy a nice Co-Op vs AI game with 4 other REAL players.
Players using BOTs is much like atheletes using STEROIDS.
please fix, its really annoying, please have low level people play with other low level people in bots, im level 37 how does a bot come play with people like us
I get the same thing in ARAM sometimes. Also remember just because a player is replying back, doesn't mean they are not botting. There are programs where they can chat back while the bot is running as to distract you from the fact they are botting.
I had an Ashe who would ult every time it was off cooldown, even if the enemy was full health, they would use E on the enemy many times after I told them it's for scouting not for damage, and they were CS'ing decently, but their abilities would miss 99% of the time and they would fire them when enemies weren't even around. They would run back to turret predictably every time the minions would respawn. I ask my team ' do you think Ashe is a bot?' ten minutes later "Ashe: Im not a bot" but it was extremely obvious they were.
A few minutes later they dc, reconnect, and start playing way differently, this seems to happen a lot when I call out their botting. I tell Ashe "I don't care if you turned your bot off at the last minute, I'm still reporting you", no response.
been getting alot of bots lately usually 3 bots on my team, all start at the frogs. its kinda annoying since all i want is my daily xp and sleep.
Heres the thing ive had this issue, and because i saw this and bots were ruining my experience, i left the game. Well riot punished me for leaving the game by giving me 20 minuet wait times in between matches, this is literal shit i dont even want to play the game anymore, this shit is dumb asf, when i get punished for leaving a bot game, and shit its like wow why do i even play? 
ive grown to hate riots shitty system of punishing the wrong players and attacking those who just happen to feed trolls, they wont ever give a shit about players that suffer from abusive teammates and shit, but say kys oh my god you need to be banned, versus the person creating an environment that's toxic in the first place, and i searched there is no way to counter this its absolute shit fuck this game dude i just want to get a feel for my champ without playing a real game solo. but i guess as long as shitty america wants capitalism then we will never have great things, only cash grabs... looks like this is still the normal for past few day I have been in co op vs ai with 4 bots always on same toons with crappy names like poolamelia and costjuliana so it looks like you can always see the 4 bots as they have names that consist of a name generator of a word and name I am new to the game and I am very very disappointed I wont spend any time playing the game now theres no point
I'm having exactly this problem. First it was nothing but bots in ARAM, now they've completely taken over Co-op vs. AI. There's always 2-4 bots in every single game. If it's just 2 or 3 then we can still win usually, but 4 bots running it down mid in an Intermediate game is an automatic loss.
Co-op used to be my safe place from the feeders and flamers when I just wanted to have a nice game where people don't take it so seriously. I've been playing this game since 2011, and when I started I played nothing but Co-op with my friends for years. Now it's getting to the point that I don't even want to play League anymore, because these bots are just everywhere now and nothing's being done about them. It's nothing but awful.
They are moving toward making botting accounts pointless. They took a big step in removing IP requirements for runes.
Their next step is to remove the IP requirements for champions and there will be no reason to sell accounts under gold league.
If they change the requirements for victorious skins from gold league minimum to...let's say 200 wins in ranked, then I think you'll see it completely disappear.
Same problem... They should not get any ip or xp for score 0/21/0 and ruining games... I want fix badly
