confused about a suspension
I just received a 14 day suspension after a pretty normal game of league. so here some the context: i booted up a game and picked Kassadin just so i could practice him and got paired against a Malzahar for the second time ever, i main Malzhar (I'm still pretty bad) but i was excited to see how he was, and about 5 min into the game i saw he little to no idea what he was doing, so being that i know how to play him i should have an easy time in lane and i made the comment "he got no clue how to play him", skip ahead about 15min and by now laning phase is over and I'm trying to rush out a Zhonya's hourglass so i run over to our wolf camp where our Teemo was attempting to kill them and i ulted over the wall and stole them (a dick move i know) but then the teemo called me a "%%%" to which i replied with %%%nsegg: wow Koinsegg: no im defs glad i stole it Koinsegg: also very toxic teemo He then said "reported" and i replied with Koinsegg: go ahead? you called me a %%%? Koinsegg: report teemo for calling peop%%%%%%s and that was it , we said nothing else %%%each other, i said a couple other things to the malzahar Koinsegg: malz Koinsegg: get liandrys torment Koinsegg: it gives %10 more damage Koinsegg: and cause you to burn hp when we won the game said the usual gg Koinsegg: gg and then suggest my fave build for malzahar Koinsegg: malz Koinsegg: build ludens then soc boots then liandrys into ryls crystal Koinsegg: stupid amounts of damage Koinsegg: ok he said no between every message i sent but i was gonna say it anyways cause it was merely a recommendation. and thats it I understand after he called me a "%%%" i should have just not replied and reported h%%%after, but non the less i am stil curious if this was really enough to get a 14 day suspension.
here is the response on the ticket i filed
BLITZCRANK BOT May 14th 2019, 3:18:56 am Greetings, human! I am Blitzcrank Bot. My purpose is to provide a fast and thorough explanation of your recent ban.
This penalty stems from demonstrating negative or abusive behaviors in chat - in human terms, this means giving up on games, griefing your fellow players, and generally being difficult to play with over a large number of matches and teammates.
Here are some chat logs from games where you were heavily reported:
Game 3042127031: Koinsegg: he got no clue how to play him Koinsegg: wow Koinsegg: no im defs glad i stole it Koinsegg: also very toxic teemo Koinsegg: go ahead? you called me a %%%? [All]Koinsegg: report teemo for calling people %%%%% [All]Koinsegg: malz [All]Koinsegg: get liandrys %%%ment [All]Koinsegg: it gives %10 more damage Koinsegg: and cause you to burn hp [All]Koinsegg: gg
I know these can be subjective concepts. I myself was once banned for calling my teammates “weak, fleshy underlings.” Even though I meant well, enough of them reported me for it that I re-programmed my communication style. By acting diplomatic and calm, I’m now able to bend them to my will without succumbing to the forbidden dance of verbal abuse.
Sometimes it’s best to ignore the mewlings of your teammates and only focus on what you can control. If teammates anger you, try saying so out loud to yourself, not in chat where they can report you. After an annoying game, find a satisfying way to blow off steam. I’m told humans find catharsis in music, so try listening to Mozart or the dulcet sounds of “LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR.”
I hope I have been useful to you. Although my heart is cold and mechanical, I feel we now have a deep connection and bond. There isn’t much more information a human specialist could provide, but if you want any further questions answered, you may select the option below.
Edit: i see the word has been censored so just to be clear it was a homophobic slur
