What is wrong with NA?

Ok, so before you go and call me out on anything, keep in mind I am also an American. I play on NA, only because I get good ping though, but EU was actually a lot more friendly compared to NA, and I leveled all the way to 30 playing with over 200 ping constant. Now in NA the biggest difference is more people seem to be passively aggressive towards their own teammates, 80% of the games, and although that did also happen in EU, it happened far less often. In EU i die in normal draft, and my teammates literally don't say a single word, or ping me to death, but in NA I die once in a normal draft, this isn't even ranked btw, and I get the ranked treatment. The classic* Hey you piece of human trash!*, stop feeding your lane, including all the ? ping spams. For example my team will say something like this, *Stop letting Nasus free farm q stacks when I see Hecarim, and brand hiding in the bush I just warded top lane. Seriously, this is just embarrassing. To put the icing on the cake, they often try to get me talking in chat so they can report me after the game, and it's always the players that have been banned on their main that made a new account, and understand how the report system works. This is a major problem.

Now I want an in depth reason why NA has to be more toxic than EU. Just work with your teammates and have fun. Who cares if someone is unintentionally feeding in normals? They are literally trying their best, but just get completely outplayed by their opponent, and instead of helping them, my team flames them instead. Then they feed like 10 kills, and go afk because team has been blowing them up with ? pings all game, and then I have to deal with a 4v5 with a fed enemy. This is 80% of my games in NA, 80%! NA needs to fix their attitude, and act like reasonable men. Wish I could play competitively on EU but the 200 ping kills it for me. In NA i get around 40ish ping on average, and with 200 constant, I can see myself doing far worse every game.

I've been thinking about just muting all except pings so I can still communicate, but unless the teammate that is getting flamed, mutes the toxic teammate, it won't do any good, except for make me less angry, but it also means if my jungler types something, like go in I'm ganking top, instead of pinging it, I'm not going to see that, and instead I'm going to watch my jungler solo dive their top laner while I'm backing in a bush. Then of course he starts ? Pinging me and tilts off the face of the planet. Seriously though guys, everyone is going to have a game where they try to outplay their opponent just to have the jungler camp them. It happens, theirs nothing you can do about it besides counter gank, but at least don't tear into your teammates. As soon as my team starts fighting, and all chatting to the enemy team, trash talking allies, my chances of winning the game drop by 50%.

Now what I actually think is happening, when I made this new account, all the players that had been banned on their mains also had to make new accounts obviously, and they are going to hopefully, be more skilled than a new player, exactly like I am, so I have a far greater chance to get toxic teammates, but enemy team has a slightly higher chance to get a toxic teammate, since most of the time I'm not needlessly toxic. Maby once I level up to 30, and start ranked things will get less toxic in NA, but I get so tilted by my toxic teammates, that I literally can't play game after game, without becoming at least slightly toxic myself. Now I don't flame a feeding ally, Unless they are actually inting, and running it down mid, but if my jungler trash talks me for intentionally feeding top when I've been getting camped all game, with no ganks, I just might say something back, and then of course the jungler overreacts, it gets out of control, and I know it effects my teammates negatively. I've actually just started to mute players like that, immediately, since they don't put anything helpful in chat most of the time anyway.

I'm not sure about putting player names up on the board, I think its kinda iffy, but there was a user named banned user that was incredibly toxic. Imagine that right? Names like that, that promote toxicity should be removed from the game.

To answer OP's original question, I feel it's a side effect of NA having the most draconian player behavior system. Compared to say the Korean servers where players are routinely toxic in chat and rarely does anyone get banned for it, here in NA the slight chat offense tends to get caught by the IFS and punished severely. So the result? In NA players who are upset just low key troll and throw matches instead of venting in chat and getting nailed by the IFS for it. Which version is more toxic?

There are posts like this from every existing region. Don't worry, toxicity is not exclusive to NA. Everyone has to deal with it. Hell, even boards are not free from it, including staff and mods.
