No reform card in the ban email
I haven't played league in over a month, and to my incredible dismay the first time that I can convince some peeps to come over to my place and play with me my account was banned, Thankfully my brother let me borrow his account, so the evening was not all in vain. (yes, not allowed I am aware, however he's my twin, we have a linked card on the accounts, and he was doing me a major solid)
My real concern is the reason for my ban, which was banned "due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client."
I'd like to consider myself an incredibly upstanding member of the league community, and have never gotten even come close to receiving a chat ban, or whatever is the lowest form of punishment that the tribunal offers.
Funny enough, my account was banned the day before I tried this little get together, so why was my account banned after nearly a month of me not playing at all? I mean, in the e-mail I was informed of simply the strict the reason but there was no "Reform Card" contained in the e-mail. How long is this ban for? There's no other information other than to the effect that my account has been banned.
The following is the entire email, minus the sweet Kayle splash art
Hello Summoner,
Your account: kamakazibubble was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client. We believe that all players should play on equal footing in an effort to promote competitive sportsmanship. You should be aware that modifying your League of Legends client is against the Terms of Use: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse. We hope you can see that it is unsatisfying to play against other players who are using a tool to gain an advantage over others.
If you wish to dispute the actions taken against your account, you may contact us via this link: http://support.riotgames.com
So my real question is how do I proceed with a ban appeal, when I really am not sure what requited the ban in the first place. With finals coming towards a close, I can now finally get back into the wonderful bronze slugfest that I have been calling home. (no sarcasm)
This matter is actually quite urgent to me, as league is essentially the only reliable way that I have been keeping in touch with my friends since I moved off to college, and I really couldn't stand to lose that.
