I got banned for using a third party software, yet I never had one.

Today I had gotten a perma ban on my account saying that I have been using third party software, yet the only thing that comes close to it is an app called blitz that helps with builds, counters and items. All happening before game. The only thing new with Blitz is the in game overlay that helps show you your cs compared to different ranks. I'm both confused and mad because I have been playing for a long time and have paid a lot of money for different champs and skins. I have placed a ticket but I'm still confused cause Blitz has been said to be safe.

Just recently as well I have looked into Blitz only to find that a Riot employee had said that this app doesn't go against TOS.

I'm not the most well versed in this stuff, but I think applications that have in game overlays are prohibited. Anything outside the game is fine, but overlays are not. I'd try to get confirmation about that though. Just in case, send a ticket explaining your situation and presenting evidence that a Riot employee actually made a statement about this particular application. The worst that happens is... nothing. You have already been banned, so trying to argue your case can't make the punishment worse. At best, the ban gets revoked and you get a warning if there is actually a problem.

Honestly it is just not wise to download these sort of stuff. Just use websites

If your overlay is showing real time comparisons, it may be interacting with the client.

Riot is really strict about 3rd party apps doing that.

Real time stats in game may not be allowed. I don't understand why people use these things when they're such a gamble. They can be fine one day then one tweak or new feature crosses the line and you lose everything

Riot recently updated their 3rd party policies for TFT. The blitz app had a bunch of stuff that is against the TFT 3rd party application authorization for fair gameplay.
