In a game where you play with other people it really sucks to have to /mute all every game because your scared you will get punished if someone is toxic and you fire back at them. I want to make friends and have fun in game but having to mute all every game now because I don’t want to get a perma ban and lose my 5 year old account that I worked very hard on fells really bad.
you can always learn some self-control like most of us. there is not a single person on this board who dares to claim he has never been flamed in many, many, many games. we don't need to flame back. Why do you need to /mute all? Why not simply mute the one person who flames you at first sight and leave everyone else unmute?
i've never needed to mute because i can tune out the chat for the most part

i'll never understand why it's so important to have shoving matches in chat instead of simply using pings and saving the chat for banter, taunts or non-inflamatory complaints

So why do you have to fire back at them? Just don't fire back and you'll be fine.
After about.... 6-8 years? Whenever it is that jinx came out roughly.... and over 8000 games (counting previous ranked season games which seem to not be reflected in the games when you ask for how many games you have played from Riot Support)
I have had 2 chat restrictions only.
I have been flamed, i have been trolled, i have been 9x reported falsely.... and not once have i utilized the /muteall.
I suggest listening to some music while playing. It helps a lot. Also remember that it is pretty common sense that if you argue with a troll, you will be trolled. So just dont even acknowledge their existance.
i got my main account from season 2 banned along with 3 other accounts banned on purpose last year because i wanted to quit and get away from this back assward community. Waste of time and effort since im here again.
im on my 7th account now i think, and i feel the hate beginning again, i lost honor for the first time in 9 months a few days ago, and now i feel its not even worth talking to anyone, i asked for my account to be perma muted and chat disabled, but they cannot do that,
Shame im too weak minded sometimes to just ignore shit and not type. gotta work on that.
Disappointing when the only way to play ur favorite game is mute everyone and try not to talk to anyone.

So just do not yel at people. Ignore them mentally. You aren't obligated to read people's comments and if you do see one, don't talk back. Safest way to keep sane and non tilted.
