Is there a difference between gg and GG?

I have seen the occasional post about how confusing gg can be since there have historically been two meanings to it: Good Game Get Good [Git Gud, if you're grammatically challenged]

So I am posting a survey post to get the communities' take on the issue.

The only real difference is whether or not they held shift/capslock.

I've never seen someone attempt to use "gg" or "GG" for "Get good".

They both could mean either or, but I generally see gg to mean good/great game. People usually use get/git good/gud to BM, and they want you to know they're trying to BM so they just spell it out... you know.. just so you know they're being rude.

gg = good game GG = good game (with bm)

The difference between "gg" and "GG" is not a common knowledge thing. "Gg" regardless of capitalization or not is always assumed to be mean "good game."

"Git gud" is the general accepted abbreviation for "get good" on online platforms.
