When Riot issues a warning...

... they're not just fooling around and teasing you. They are dead serious. If you continue to behave the way they are warning you against, your next punishment will escalate.

I am seeing way too many threads where players are claiming that they are unfairly banned, only to get a Rioter response along the lines of: "You were warned about this before, your ban is not being revoked."

So I ask this of you: If you've been banned by Riot, instead of making a thread crying about how Riot are a bunch of unjust, evil people that only want to torture you to the ends of the earth, just don't. Make a new account instead and learn from your past mistakes.

Well one issue is that Riot never tells you what exactly you're doing wrong. You are given a chatlog with virtually no context which doesn't explain what you were actually punished for. Add in the fact that alot of players do not understand just how strict Riots system is compared to other games, and you can see why people end up getting escalated punishments. You see this all of the time on this board. People post their logs not realizing that what they said is 100% bannable.

Riots communication on what is allowed and isn't is quite frankly terrible. Remember those monthly report cards we were supposed to get?

Eh, people shouldn't be banned for chat related crap anyways though. Chat just needs to be removed from the game. It doesn't do anything, it gets people killed If they aren't paying attention and stop to respond to people, it creates arguments, rage etc. Endless flame from whatever team is actually losing with the blame game. Chat is literally pointless. Remove it and Solve all problems.

Interesting point you've brought up there mate!

Like I've said before I've been working on my toxicity. But way back in the day (season 2), I used to rage and flame a lot more.

I'm not proud of it, but I won't hide it from you guys to make myself look better.

Whenever I received a warning I always took it seriously and toned down the flaming. It didn't matter whether I felt like my rage was justified or not, I knew that I'd been pushing it a bit too far.

After that....nothing happened.

So, yeah, I agree with you. I think if more people took the warnings seriously like I do, they probably wouldn't get banned quite as much.

People don't understand the concept of a tiered punishment system I guess. I mean it's very VERY simple. it's practically three strikes and you're out.

All people need to do is NOT feed the trolls and don't get baited. Very simple... don't hit enter!

Tbh, the majority of this playerbase probably deserves to be banned, so the fact that not that many people do feels bad when you end up getting singled out.
