You cannot tell me a Grandmasters player would be this low of MMR

My friend showed me this player he had in one of his games. My friend was diamond last season and is currently hard stuck gold and we make fun of him for that but really its encourage him to make it back to diamond (Though this strategy hasn't been effective, Still hard stuck gold 1.) Yet he found someone in his games that is the absolute definition of depression incarnate. This player was grandmasters last season yet is now Hard stuck Gold 3 with a 43% Win Ratio.
It's kind of mind-boggling, It's either that this season is screwed- Or this season is screwed.

I do so enjoy playing with a broader spectrum of skill at my level, in bronze. I've been roflstomped more this season in bronze than I was in gold.

Games also more toxic than ever. I've been more silent, so that miiiiiiight have something to do with it. /doubt it

I think: accept that silver is the new gold, bronze is the new silver, etc.

The season is an absolute shit show. Got placed gold 3, got diamond 4 for the 1st time in early feb, then went on an unlucky losing streak and now im plat 3..

No, it's not. If he was Grandmaster he clearly has the skill to get out of gold. He probably bought the account.
