Do ARAM games count towards unlocking your honor after you've been chat restricted? I've played about 25 regular/ARAM games without one peep of negativity. Being so "Leave it to Beaver" positive that I want to blow my brains out. I mean I am laying it on as thick as I can, while not typing excessively either.
You could try playing without typing.
I want this next bit to sink into your head in the most "I don't care how much this hurts you to hear this" kind of way. At the end of the day, NOTHING you say is going to be as important as the right clicks and buttons at the right time. I mean it. NOTHING! Your words are literally worthless in this game because you can communicate everything you need to with pings and emotes. NOTHING you type will be worth the time... so it's really just about your own self satisfaction and ego-stroking that you do it.
If you NEED to trash talk, go play pokemon in the smogon community
Any matchmade games count toward honor. I play ARAM more frequently than SR games (although lately I've been refamiliarizing myself with norms after virtually none all year), and I've been sitting on Honor 5 for months.
