"tilting is a strategy that messes your opponent's mind."

I just had a game that everyone was flaming me, tilting me, being racist and calling me a mistake, braindead, homeless, etc. At the end of the game, enemy team said, "It's just a strategy dude". "you can't report me for that, League is a mind game." Why is tilting even a strategy? Flaming enemy team to have a guaranteed win? People these days

Tilting is a legitimate strategy. If I camp someone on their team and cause them to ragequit, that's completely viable and legitimate. If I spam m7/laugh/dance/emotes every time I dodge something from them, beat them in a trade, or generally outplay them, that's kinda dickish but also completely viable and legitimate.

Keep in mind though that tilting your opponent and flaming them are not the same thing. Saying "Outplayed" is bming and tilting. Calling someone braindead, a mistake, homeless, and generally being racist are flaming are not acceptable.

Generally, if it's more showing off how good you are to intimidate or piss your opponent off, that's totally fine. If it's bringing your opponent down or showing them as worthless that's not okay.

You can do that without being insulting, racist and just an awful human being. Just saying. Throwing someone off their grove doesn’t have to imply validating this kind of behavior. There’s a difference between being cheeky and saying something game relevant and being a garbage person and spamming slurs. If only this community didn’t feel entitled to its rage and horrible behavior, I wonder.

Ps of course report them lmao that’s not a strat.

Its actually a strat- the game is as much about mindet as anything. While I try not to flame, if I see someone on the enimy is flaming I will ask them to talk about it- enimy adc is smack talking his support i would be like "sorry enimy adc, but your supps doing ok you guys are just not good" - or something to get them fighting more.

THey fight we win.

You can report anyone for anything in general. Because you simply can. So no, if they flame you, report them. That's all to it. They can call it whatever they want to justify their reasons, but regardless of their reasons, they're not abiding by Terms of Use and considered an offense.

I usually tilt my opponents with innocent comments, like saying 'thx' when i get a kill, or when the enemy says "better jg win", and i am mid, i also add "and better mid', or "thank your midlaner", when the opponent midlaner didn't ping SS and i roamed, or "no, i am not letting you farm" when I kill him the 8th time. Tilting is part of sports in general, if you can't handle the heat, don't play the game. Your own calm is YOUR responsibility, no one else's.

Flaming enemy team to have a guaranteed win?

Teach me this power. I thought the enemy can mute me anytime, how can i stop them? O.o

Toxic Teeto5/6/2019, 12:46:54 PM2 votes

Is it possible to learn this power?

Telephone Booth5/6/2019, 11:38:44 PM2 votes

Damn. i dont straight up flame people like that, but i will stir the flames if i realize the enemy team has some in-fighting going on. Ill try to agree or disagree with someone in a way that i know will piss them off. No insults. Just stirring shit up.

I do this sometimes, though I'm generally not mean. For example, if someone misplays in lane and feeds me a kill, I might think to ask, "Are you new?" or "If only you had a better jungler," the second bit designed to get a flame war started between him and his jungler. Sometimes vs a hardcore feeding team, I might ask, "Is this a bot game?"

If it works then good for him if league didnt devolve into a bunch of babys crying im tilted im tilted (pros and streamers too normalizing it) the recent upsurge of the outcry of 'im tilted started' right here in league in season 5 imagine that andmoved to games like Call of duty and Fortnite. League mothered this baby.

DDoS is also a strat but that doesn't mean they wouldn't get punished :^)

Return the favor. And no, not with being toxic. Instead, play obnoxious champions that tilt players just by seeing them. Most people lose to a Yasuo or Zed or Riven (and many others) simply by seeing them selected in the screen. Malzahar is a good one for this too. Players view him as overpowered yet his stats are trash and he is much easier to punish than almost any champion out there.

So, just pick up some of the champions that make the game not fun for them or play strategies that are not fun.

I played against a Yasuo that had well over a million Mastery Points on Yasuo once and I actively refused to fight him at all (with the exception of the first time I killed him and when he dove me under turret). I would avoid trades at all costs and only auto him or hit him with abilities when it was completely safe, and even then almost always when he would keep turret diving me because he was cocky. I focused wave clearing and killed him every time he would dive me. He started to try to roam and I would ping my team and immediately shove the wave and take turret plates or do damage to turret until I took his turret.

/AllChat was filled with him complaining that I was boring and how my "strat was to push towers and not fight" and how stupid this was and so on and so forth. In the end of the game we won and he was utterly and totally irrelevant. I did not do this because I could not beat him. I solo killed him in lane for the first time just to show him that and then never fought him again. We actively avoided fighting him at all and pushed lanes, retreated and did not group except to grab objectives after getting a pick or something similar.

/AllChat was filled with streams of complaints to the point that I think he spent more time typing than he did playing. Never once flamed him or even said anything except to his teammates (I congratulated one of them on a nice kill and had fun quoting my champion's quotes in /AllChat). At the end of the game I just commented that it is irrelevant how good you can fight if you are not allowed to. :)

All of this started because at the beginning of the game he said, "You must be Wood believing Malzahar counters Yasuo" (which he does). The next thing he did was stand in mid lane just outside of my turret and spam "Back to Base" and then commented after my first kill on him, "Wait till I have items and 1v5 your trash team" and all kinds of random stuff about how I am playing a skilless champion (cept this was when Yasuo was blatantly OP and is far less interactive than Malzahar is).

Just change your tactics and make them regret it. :)
