Matching toxic players together

I assume there is already a hidden "toxicity" variable associated with a user's account based on the reports that user has received. It would make sense that the punishments would be handed off based on such a score.

But what if such a score is used comparably to how MMR is used in that it preferentially groups together players with similar scores. This would not only create a separation between toxic and normal teams but create an incentive to straighen your act if you want to be matched with more game-minded players in the future.

Something like this may already be implemented with the honor system, but I'm not aware if the above idea has been.

It does not create an incentive to straighten your act. When you put players that misbehave with each other, they will only see misbehavior, and that will become their new normal. It is like those arcade games where the ball drops in the middle and falls into a "whirlpool" on one side - once it starts falling to one side, it'll keep going no matter how fast it's going, the angle, etc.

This is the "Prisoner's Island" concept and Riot is vehemently against it. They believe in giving people ample opportunities to reform (which is why punishments are tiered - 10-game chat restriction, 25-game chat restriction, 14-day suspension, permanent suspension) and for those very few who can't reform even after multiple chances, they don't want to look for ways to keep toxic people playing - they want them gone.

100% riot puts you in toxicity jail. I've felt it on multiple accounts. One ban and all the sudden the quality of your teammates goes to complete shit and amount of trolls you get goes up exponentially. Mind numbing frustration. Riot treats players like america treats prisoners, they farm them for money and don't give two fucks about helping them get better.

Here come the downvotes from all the riot employees on this board.
