It seems like this is happening more and more lately. Someone is either AFKing from the very start of the game or AFKing a few minutes into the game, and never returning. It's wrecking so many games, it's downright disturbing. Is Riot going to get more serious about punishing people for AFKing like this? It's making the game almost unbearable.
Out of dozens of games so far, I think I've only seen 3-4 AFKs total (across both sides, even).
Pretty sure they're not "rampant."
I'd prefer to see an AFK than two people in a lane running it down constantly. Hell, I had a Jhin go 3/20 in my lane which was impressive. May have ended differently if he just, you know, stopped existing. :D
I'd imagine it's because a lot people just don't find the game mode fun anymore.
