Automated scripts in Co-op vs AI

To start things off, I would have to admit that this is not my main account (as in all regions), but it is my only account on NA. I primarily play on Garena's Taiwanese servers, and hop over to play with friends who are either North Americans or simply did not bother transferring their accounts.

Here comes the story. I am levelling up to level 30's so as to unlock the real competition, not necessarily ranked, but you have the idea. Heading onto the Rift I have two options: to stomp pre-30's, as I have prior experience; or to play against AI, which might be slower but acceptable to me. I have admitted to opponents that this isn't my first account, and they have voiced out their frustration, feeling unfair to play against a smurf. Thus I opted for Co-op vs AI, and here comes the real issue.

In these Co-op vs AI games, often times you get queued with a few scripted bots as your teammates. What they do is they feed to the enemy bots (which are legit bots) until 20 minutes, when they finally stay put at base (without disconnecting). There are times where their feeding is so severe that I could not eventually win the game; you could check my match history for proof. Their dialogue is limited to spouts of 'Gj' and 'Frozen' in incompatible occasions, e.g. when inhibitors fall and the nexus is exposed.

Being the smurf I am, I could easily climb to level 30 in PvP. As for the new players in NA, I wonder which path they should take: to be devastated by smurfs, or to be marooned by bots.

You still see these guys at level 30 too. They usually have weird-looking names, have Ghost and Heal and no masteries, instalock a free week champ, then feed relentlessly. Some buy items, some don't, some have scripted lines in chat, some don't, but they're all obviously bots and it's annoying to deal with them. I report them when I see them but there's always more.

Most amusingly, I once had an obvious bot disconnect, then reconnect and start talking - The player controlling the bot had shut the game down, turned off the bot script, and logged back in to try and avoid getting reported because he saw us talking in chat about it.

Depends, I personally don't try very hard on smurfs and also try to help people learn the game. If that isn't your style then do bots. If you learn bots well enough then feeders don't matter. I occasionally set up 1v5 games vs bots just for some fun if I don't have time for a real game. They aren't very difficult after a while.

For everyone's reference, on Garena Taiwan's servers, Co-op vs AI are usually either champion practice, helping out new players or pre-15-minute mid-lane base rushes (presumably for First Win of the Day).

Yeah just played 2 games in a row where we had to 3v5 cause of bot teammates kept turret diving over and over

I feel your pain.

I started setting up smurfs to buy limited champions on, ARAM smurfs or Ranked smurfs (I'm desperate for Gravelord Azir). I'm stuck trying to help newbies beat bot vs bot matches. So gross.

Damn I just started playing the occasional vs ai again for bot stomping fun and I never get these bots. Everyone's competing for the most kills. I would love to have some feeding bots on my team so I can kill more!! Where are they for me dammit!?
