Change FF rules to curb spam FF

I think that each player should only be able to FF once. If it happens that the whole team has tried to FF then everyone can FF one more time (to avoid weird situations). But mainly this is to avoid being subjected to FF spam when it's clear it's gonna be voted down.

In addition to being annoying, the ability to repeat FF gives some players the notion that they're entitled to an FF over the wishes of their teammates, and also leads to flame, inting or AFK when they don't get what they want. If there were firmer rules surrounding FF they would be able to let it go and buckle down which would greatly reduce common tilt and flame.

I fail to see how reducing each player's allowed Surrender Attempts to one would mitigate those kinds of behavior. If they were going to flame, intentionally feed, or AFK when their Surrender Vote doesn't go through for the third time, what makes you think they wouldn't do it on the first failed Surrender Vote if they were only allowed one attempt?

Frankly, I prefer the way Surrender Votes are handled right now, with a 3-minute cooldown overall instead of a vote allotment per-player. Some people who initially voted "no" may find the situation growing gradually more and more unfavorable, but still (for whatever reason they have) not open a Surrender Vote themselves. If they wind up changing their vote to Yes, I don't see why the actual vote should be hampered by preventing the one player who's actually willing to open the vote from actually doing so.

Also make it so that duos have 1 ff vote. had too many lost games dragged on because duo bot refuses to ff

You know, I don't subscribe to the whole "stop being so damn sensitive thing" in general, especially when it applies to player behavior posts, but seriously? If the surrender vote mechanic tilts you, that's a you problem, not the people who are using a game function in the way it was intended.

That makes it ultimately not a player behavior issue. I would suggest taking this post over to Gameplay, as you're talking about changing something in the game, not something to do with player behavior. Perfect place to discuss, "I think 3 minutes is too short a time for a new surrender vote," because that's what this post boils down to.

Jesus... lets just make a rule against any little thing that annoys you. Seriously, how hard is it to just vote no quick? Takes ONE second. With all the ff spam, that might add up to a whopping 5-10 seconds in a long game. Let them feel entitled to a ff, it doesnt matter. If they break any rules, report them like anything else.

I get what your saying it is annoying to have people spam ff every 3 minutes as its very demoralizing; however this is not a sollution.

Maybe make it so instead of a cooldown were you cant vote maybe make it a consistent menu somehow like for example when you got to the options menu you can tick i wish to surrender and it shows your teamates one time but they can also vote to surrender at any time they wish. And the menu keeps track of the number of votes. That way you dont have to wait 3 minutes between votes and they are not as spammable and disruptive
