Honor reset and checkpoints

Hi got chat restricted 3 weeks ago for 25 games

got my honor reset to 0

played around 75 games so far mix of ranked aram etc

finally got my 1st checkpoint is it normal for this to take that many games i understand i was toxic and so far i'm doing good just muting everyone at the start of every game.

wondering why is there no progress bar for honor and why is it so god dam hard to level riot thinks everyone can play 600 games to reach honor 5 or something crazy

Regaining your honour is a tedious process, so it might take a while before you reach higher honour standings.

Allegedly, you can get a small boost to your honour just by being nice and displaying positive behavioural patterns. It expedites the process ever so slightly. That's why I recommend utilizing the chat and leaning towards the more positive side, rather than being neutral (muting and not talking).

wondering why is there no progress bar for honor

Among many reasons, the most prominent one pertains to preventing people from grinding honour, which would completely defeat the purpose of being an honourable player.
