I just lost 15LP, and it couldn't be more unfair.

Here is a link to a game I just played. Our Jinx left around the 6 minute mark, and Nocturne quit about 10 minutes after that. This was a ranked game. I don't understand how you haven't fixed this issue yet (leavers), or at the bare minimum make it a heck of a lot less common than it is. Leavers need to be cracked down on, and you guys (Riot) SERIOUSLY need to take a look at people losing LP on games where players leave. The LP loss of the entire team should be given to the leaver(s), and individuals that stay and try should have their loses heavily negated, or dismissed to have a -0lp just like a remake. It is not fair that I lose 2 hours of my life... because I lose this match, and have to go play another match to gain the LP back, just to wind up back where I started. Moreover, when there is no system like this; people like my nocturne are not incentivised to sick around when the game feels helpless. And it is helpless, because Riot has never been able to just step up and fix this unfair, broken system. I mean seriously, whats wrong with forcing the leaver to take 50% of the entire team's LP loss? At least that helps a little. Come on Riot, you guys are so smart, yet you've been stumped over this stupid issue since the game came out, and lets be real the tribunal, and all that garbage... leaver buster? None of it works well enough. FIX... IT...
