If u give us a really SECOND CHANCE, banned players, we will be respectful all life!!!!!!

Well Riot, a very nice community with a nice game, well done, that is working hard to give us the best game play, if someone could understand and agree with me here i apreciate it so much!!!! So... to start over, today i got banned just like many players around here... for flaming because this is the main problem here tho... At one point u just can't control yourself after a hard bad day and spit out many bad words that u didn't suppose to and after that u regret it! But now i regret it so hard I've done this just like many of us here because of that type of player that feeds unintentionally or intentionally and u just simply can't play without saying something bad... So after flaming, u try at least to play good and try to carry the team but u just can't and u simply lose the game just like that. Even if u mute him he will still feed and doesn't care about it and of course at the end of the game u report him and HE DOESN'T GET ANY PENALTY!!!!! And u will be the one that is in danger by getting banned or days suspended. After all, if u give us, me, league banned players, a really second chance and that's it, we would be grateful so much and i'm pretty sure I've learned my lesson here just like others!!!!!! If u don't understand us it's kind of ok but think about it that we can't play it, enjoy it like we did... because some of us had skins, or just played for fun with our good friends, ENJOYED the game mostly!!!!! Although thanks for understanding and i apreciate u read this!

Riot used to offer more chances and has run at least two experiments seeing if banned players can reform in a sufficient percentage to make this a policy that can be considered. As we've heard nothing about any plans to reverse the current policy, it's fairly safe to assume that, unless we hear otherwise, these experiments did not pan out in favor of more chances.

And this whole “I had a bad day and can’t control myself” thing is a just silly. That’s how children behave. Just don’t say anything. Or mute. It’s really not that deep...

I didn't read through all the comments but I'll say this; I've been chat restricted, 14 day banned AND Perma Banned! To get my account unperma'd I had to basically beg one of the GM's and they told me flat out that if they reinstate me I basically have to walk the line because any sort of reports against me again would just be a perma and i wouldn't be getting my account back again.

It is a case by case scenario though and honestly I'm a lot better with controlling what I say to ppl now but it was really only after having that perma ban where I really started to care because I had bought a lot of skins on this account and i'm not gonna say how much i've spent but basically getting perma banned would be a huge waste of money.

I'd say straight away if you do get your account or if anyone wants to try and get their account back it is possible but DON'T make the mistake of thinking you can flame or be toxic or run it down or anything REMOTELY like that; you are under a microscope with every report once you get your account back and they WILL perma you if you are still doing the same stuff.

The toughest part for me was finding ways to talk to ppl without being toxic when I got frustrated. Now i find myself using pings more, telling ppl hey lets try and do this instead (sometimes it does work but often not so much) and I think league is a lot more enjoyable now tbh because I don't deal with things in anger anymore, frustration maybe but yeah hopefully you get unperma'd but I would highly recommend talking to the support staff and really letting them know you can learn / reform and then actually do it this time.

Remember there are still a lot of new players here too and kids also; if ever you think you want to go down that toxic path just think how you would feel if you were brand new and had some guy just flaming you over something you didn't even know you did.

GL man you may get your account back but find better ways to deal with your frustration, OR if you are upset/frustrated just don't type or just type gibberish like lajfio4hw3 9giuvhoiu; I don't think you can get banned for that lol ; i see Trick2G doing that on Stream but he says something different out loud and I find myself doing that sometimes (no cameras tho lol) just cause it's like venting but not toxic, or you could just type whateva and then just not hit Enter! that's something else that I do sometimes, like i'll type it out and be like hmmm is this toxic?? and generally if i'm asking myself that then the answer is normally yes, so i end up just not sending it and going back to the game. AND if ppl flame you, just ignore them; be like "yeah? thanks for your opinion and i appreciate it very much" then hit that mute button; don't give anyone any ammo to report you because like i said, you are under that microscope if u get it back

From the Tribunal FAQ:

**Why can’t you give permanent banned players a second chance? You will receive a better player. ** Actually, this is the unfortunate problem. Allowing permanently banned players another chance is an extremely damaging cost. Do you know what the success rate of the Level 20 Challenge was? 5%. Do you know that for each person, they clearly outlined the toxic behaviors and had 1 on 1 conversations with the players to try to improve their behavior? These are players that were hand-picked by Player Support staff because they felt the pleas from these players were genuine. The success rate was still 5%.

Do you know how many games on average these players played? 100 games / month. When a permanently banned player fails to reform, they are creating miserable experiences for hundreds, maybe thousands of players a month. That's not a cheap cost or a low risk and we cannot consciously justify that, for the sake of the rest of our players.

Yeah people say things they regret all the time. Sometimes you cant undo it. Thats life. There are consequences to the things you say. Sometimes you'll cuss out someone you love, or just say nasty things to them, and they leave you and then you miss them and regret the things you said, but theyre gone and will not come back. Sometimes you say the wrong thing to the wrong person and get your ass beat. You cant undo that ass beating lol. So if you "cant control yourself" youre gonna run into bigger problems in life than having an account on a video game banned. Get used to it. Lifes a bitch and then you die.

Nah, you had one warning if you used trigger word/three warnings if you had chat restrictions.

As occasional heavy flamer, I still can't understand how, eventhough you know you are going to get permed, can you still be so foolish and let yourself go of the leash... 14 days = I won't use chat, not even in the slightest way that could be toxic, just don't...

I hate this isn't a thing anymore. I just lost this account last week. My last actually punishment was back in 2012 which was a 3 day ban. My latest was straight to a perma ban due to me allegedly doxing someone. What really hits me is the age of the account and the decent behavior it has attached to it, minus this one incident.

So far I've gotten my second account over level 20.

You have to go through a couple warnings before your first punishment. Then you have 2 layers of chat restriction, and a 14 day ban, before the perma; punishment tier skipping only happens if your offence is strictly gameplay based such as scripting which would skip you to 14 day ban on first offence, or if your verbal abuse is over the top intense and/or full of slurs.

While I generally support the idea of proposing for having an extra layer either before or after 14 day ban, as I sometimes do feel especially the gameplay side of punishment having too few tiers (as it's just 14 day and then perma).

However in your case of being banned for flaming, you are entirely to blame. You had many chances before this point already.

There should be better system because players on black list might be punished for even slightest chat rage. There is poor rehabilitation system that does not forgive... But bans that were granted should never be reverted. Noone would care about punishments if there would not be ultimate punishment.
