Tried everything to find a solution to my "toxicity" before getting banned, to no avail.

I was on this board multiple times on my previous account lobbying for clarity and options when it comes to chat and its restrictions. I tried lobbying for making the rules more specific so I actually know what I can and cannot say instead of being unpleasantly surprised with a restriction or ban. I also tried asking for the possibility of turning off chat so I cant interact with or read chat. Now since I have been on this board before I know this thread will be flooded with comments about actually changing my behavior and to just "not be a dick". To them I say I never wanted to change the way I am. I say things the way I see them, if they are good I say they are good and if they are bad I say they are bad. I also don't like to take insults sitting down, I don't like do be disrespected without retorting in some manner. Is that so wrong? Can I not be the way that I am and still play this game. Why can't I just turn off chat? Why can't I actually know what is bannable before being banned so I can not say it? Why is Riot trying to change people for the "better" when its just a gaming company? My theory? They want people's accounts to get banned so they have to make another one and buy more skins or whatever. Well I got permabanned in November, and I can wholeheartedly say I will never support Riot games in any way or fashion for the rest of my life. Good luck purging your game of undesirables instead of acting in the best interest of the game. Which is to protect the profit of the company and its PLAYERBASE (without whom you are nothing).

You are exactly the reason the rules aren’t more specific. If they made the rules more specific, you would do everything you can to skirt around them but still be a jerk. You admit you understand the rules but are unwilling to comply with them. That is a you problem.

If you leave the game, that is Riot’s goal at this point, since you’re unwilling to behave appropriately.

I don't even get how players can even get banned tbh, let alone banned multiple times.

The system regarding player behaviour is incredibly lenient, it's too much so in actuality. Basically unless it's some insane level of abuse of other players or if you spam slurs, you basically are good as being clear of chat restriction and bans.

Maybe you think you tried, but you clearly didn't. Because you have to try and be banned in the first place, how can you say that you actually tried to stay clear of bans when you're banned on multiple accounts?

Riot is being a giant bitch about their rules. I wish they would just be honest. All this encouraging to reform psychological brain washing is pretty disgusting to me. But the bottom line for them is profit. Players leave game due to toxicity, company makes rules against toxicity to salvage playerbase and profit. Thats what its all about. Of course, this is capitalism. It isnt about morality or feelings, its about finding why their players leave, and then finding ways to prevent that. So we have these rules against toxicity.

"Don't be a dick" is fair. Specific behavioral rules encourage circumvention. Riot is far from the only group to do this. Hell, plenty of laws work the same way in the real world.

It's sad that you refuse to take responsibility for your own actions.

You don't have to take insults sitting down. It's called mute and report. If you insult them back, then you are just as guilty and also subject to report. Instead of just telling people they're bad, try giving them advice on what they did wrong and how they can improve. If they don't want to take the advice then that's their problem. They'll be the ones stuck where they're at for refusing to improve.

Things not allowed: -insulting your teammates -begging for reports -arguing -anything that lowers moral or is not helpful to the game -zero tolerance words or phrases (not even as a joke)
