Im trying to not tilt as much and not flame the enemy but having the chat in the corner of the screen is really making it dfficult not to press enter and be toxic. Is there a way to unbind the ability to write in chat, or disable it completely?
There are a fee posts about unbinding your enter key.
You could also just disable /all chat so you can never see ehat the enemy says and feel the need to respond
Disable all chat, you wont be able to talk to the enemy and you wont see what they type to you.

There's a post that's about a week old that explain how to unbind the enter key, so that you can't trigger the chat textbox.
For me, turning off /all chat isn't the issue - the enemy is usually way less toxic than my team mates.

In Settings > Interface you can reduce the chat size to very very small. You can drag the chatbox off the screen. You could hit esc after typing instead of enter to send it as a muted message.
