Reporting doesn't work at all unless people are saying clearly defined filtered words lmao
Reporting only works against toxic players and nothing else.
I do report people and write pretty long explanations and it does nothing I made a list last season since people Kept telling me the system works so every time someone 100% trolled I put that name on a list and checked up on them during while waiting for a game every now and then AND GUESS WHAT none of them actually got banned they are still playing.
The draven that got made like 8 mins in from the support that gave up and started taken my jungle and just feeding still playing and playing consistently and still does that great.
The bard that got his champion banned by the jungle so he decided he would just troll all game yep nothing happened.
The vayne who said she was done since she was playing horrible and started trolling even saying she was trolling yep still playing.
Do you need more? Since I have a lots of stories for just last season.
The system is horrible and anyone can see that especially in low elo where it feels like every game since nothing happens to them.

I report even if I feel I'm the only one doing it. I consider it therapy to compensate for morons, but I don't report unless they give me a reason to. I don't report people for being bad players, (If I can see they are actually trying I often feel sorry for the poor bastard) but I do report inting/trolling/afking/trash talk/bad behavior/etc. At the end of the match, I will always apologize on behalf of our team for the player that sported bad behavior "Sorry about out Warwick" or whoever it was.
Sometimes I can actually go a few games without seeing the need to report anybody! Shocking I know.
i've stopped bothering reporting players cause i know nothing will happen to them. hell when i do decide to report a player for whatever reason i fucking call riot out on their bullshit of a system. after explaining everything i will put in ()'s "but i doubt you're gonna do anything about it because why would you?"and you know what? they're only proving my point. if they want this system to be better it needs better accuracy and better consistency. giving the entire chat log (not just your own. that's nitpicking), can tell the difference between a bad game and actual inting, and always informs players if/when a player they report is punished. with those three things alone toxic ass players will be punished accordingly and hopefully that means toxicity will go down. but a million dollar company cannot spare money to either improve the current ai or hire actual people to do it. they want to take as much money as they can and spend very little of it.

Trolling and inting never end in action unless it's something blatant like running into turrets or playing with full ruby/mana crystals.
It's that simple. So why should I bother when I know for a fact the only report feedback on actions I ever get come straight away from reporting verbally abusive people but not even once for my reports on trolling/feeding?
I can mute a verbally abusive player, but I can't mute abusive, selfish, bad play ruining my games.
Yet riot only punishes and bans the one behavior I can censor/filter out of my games but not the behavior I cannot.
