Chat Removal
Hello all, I'm extremely annoyed by the communities constant attacks of their own team members, so much so i believe the best way to just stop it all is the removal of the chat box. Players should understand its not your right to tell the other person how bad they are. Freedom of speech is great, but most people wouldn't go out in public and tell some random person "you (insert hate comment)."
In my honest opinion after playing this game for 7 years (holy...) it's getting more and more toxic by the day. I've literally had people throw winnable games because one person decides to type in chat oh you suck you shouldn't have let me die there, then the back and forth, and what was a winnable game now becomes a pissing contest on who's right.
If people literally are so sensitive that any comment whatsoever towards them whether constructive or not is construed as negative then what's the point of having a chat box. I love this game but there is no incentive whatsoever for people to not troll or keep others hostage in ranked games.
And im 100% positive everyone can relate to this happening to them this isn't a generality every streamer i've ever watched is always getting one person on their team who takes things the wrong way starts trolling, feeding, leaving because of it and a lot of the time the streamer will even be the person doing it. People wonder why the game is so hard why it's hard to climb It's more often than not some other random that decided to type something in chat that set the other person off and now you just waisted 15-35 minutes of your life.
If i'm out skilled i don't mind the loss I was outskilled, my teammates couldn't pick up my slack cause i dropped the ball and fed my laner, ok that happens it doesn't feel like a waste of my time because i can take what happened and learn from it, but when you have a team of people constantly hating on their own teammates every single game on your day off of work and you won 2 games and lost 4 because of people type type typing in chat having leavers feeders and afkers what's the point of climbing the game? feels more like a roll of the dice did i get a team that's gonna flame or a team that's gonna stomp there isn't any in between seldom do you see in chat "We still got this boys let's figure out a way to get back in the game." God i wish i was making this stuff up cause it feels like it's every game where its ff15 there are only 200 players in challenger so unless you're one of them the games still winnable at 2 minutes into the game my guy >.>.
I only ask for some type of action to be implemented some incentive for everyone on my team to either say nice things or say nothing at all ( I find it hard to believe no ones parents taught them that lesson...) Restricting chat is not enough if it was this wouldn't be such a toxic environment. Im proud to see what we can do as a community it just pains me that something like this is allowed because people can hide behind their "anonymity". When you make an account riot asks for your info right? They keep a record of all their players right? It wouldn't be hard for them to say oh johnny from florida is typing racist comments online. They don't do that but they could. Your "anonymity" isn't real even if they don't keep that stuff recorded right. You know the person who still knows you typed that hateful sh*t? Its you bro. Do you like putting out hate out there like that? What does that do to your mental if you view the world as crap people? What are you doing to yourself? If anything why are you still playing the game if its turning you into that type of person? Do you like the person you're becoming because of this video game?
Players can learn to communicate with pings even with the new emotes. You cant tell peoples tonality with words or their intentions you're being queued with random people from all over. If it was my best friend playing with me and he said im sht i'd take that as man i really dropped the ball this game. If its a random; people are like "listen buddy i appreciate your feedback so much im gonna walk down this lane take 2 turret shots and die to the enemy adc." Why? f** you that's why :).
That's what most games feel like. Your entitled to your opinions but come on you really telling me if you saw tyler1 in person you would say in his face how much of a (insert whatever Hate comment you've typed to him in his twitch or in game) Hell no you wouldnt what are you a Psychopath/ Masochist?
anyways that's my rant from a s3 player. Gl on your climb, please think twice b4 you use chat, ik i dont anymore its just /mute all.
