I am afraid to say anything in chat after my 2 week ban. Am I alone?

Ever since I got banned a month or so ago, I haven't said much in chat. After doing some research in the boards I am never going to say another word in LoL chat. Am I alone or do you share my experience?

Those people that are scared to speak a word after the 14-day bans just don't understand the system.

Once you understand the rules, you can shape your behavior around it.

Go through your research and read what the community's feedback is on why someone got punished. Also, don't believe every word someone says. Just because they said that they were punished for 1 game for replying to an inter doesn't mean that's the truth, whole truth and nothing but the truth.

If it's acc you care about, just to be sure, you should avoid chat. Don't get me wrong, you can use it, in nontoxic way, but it can be hard to tell what's toxic tho, since even mild thing can and will trigger ban.

On accs I don't care about, I'm still toxic, avoiding any suspicious words with other letters, numbers and symbols. But you can be reported through ticket and boom.

Just don't be dick, focus on the game, eventhough it's hard to say it for me as kinda toxic player, it will help you climb.

You're most def not alone... I'm not speaking from experience but I've seen a lot of people be nervous about it. As long as you don't show any negativity at all, you'll be fine. Saying an occasional "gj" or "wp" or "gg" (at the end of a game and not 5 mins in) or "hey lets set up for baron/dragon" isn't going to get you perma'd.

Write "/mute all" and never press enter in the game or in the champion lobby or in the match result screen. That is the only way to not get banned. Salty kids will rpeor you not for what you said but for the fact they lost the game. And sometimes bot or eventualyl salty rito employee will punish you for soemthing.

I would recommend playing another game. Riot support will probably ban you soon. At least they gave you a chat restriction. They perma banned me for saying the words “bad”, “trash”.

If you cant be nice in chat or dont know what is and is not considered accetable, or you cant get into the habbit of muting, then no, dont speak.

If you learn from it, then speak.

I had a chat restrict, and since then ive used the mute button, not only do I not spazz as much, i actually win more games.

Good luck.

100% should be afraid you will get banned again if are reported. If you say the F-word and are reported thats insta ban. The best thing to do is NOT chat at all, remove the enter button from your keyboard. If you make anyone mad and say anything at all you will get banned. I literally said "STFU and play we can win" and I got banned, GG Riot have fun with your game.

I would be too. Fortunately I havent experienced this draconian punishment system people speak of, so my only fear is tilting my allies and turning my team into a bunch of arguing morons, so I say very little.

I got a 2 week ban for doing literally nothing. Supposedly "I" was using unauthorized credit card credentials. So I asked them to look into it and unban me and they said no. Like...... Riot do your job lol. I was 10 tokens off the Kha'zix championship border and never got it

Considering there is a strange consensus on these forums that toxic players never get banned and the whole reporting system doesn't work, there sure are a lot of nervous people scared to get banned on there.

The banning and reporting system works and you have nothing to fear in chat or on the forums if you simply don't say anything offensive, rude and unsportsmen like. I find it really strange that people have such a hard time with this.

Some folks get nervous, many remain just as toxic or worse and make alt accounts to really be trolls..
