Hi, had an inting syndra in my game (zero lp from demotion) who came to bot 4 times and intentionally fed under tower. I was as reserved as one could possibly be given the stress the situation induced, and yet my account has been permanently banned anyway. One of the following 3 things is going to happen, im posting on this message board so you can decide.

a) lift the wrongful ban on my account, the syndra is the one who should be permanently banned, not myself ( i did everything i could to carry that game and had no negative comments towards teammates sans 1 mildly offensive comment to syndra when she was int feeding our lane)

b) refund me the money i spent on skins for this account, its not much but if youre going to close my account that has items i paid for on it then c is going to happen

c) i will file a lawsuit against RIOT, i have the message logs saved from the game and the transaction reciepts from my skin purchases, and it doesnt bother me in the slightest to pursue this in court.

d) you'll keep your punishment for breaking riot's ToS and get nothing back.

You're not the first person to make an empty threat of a lawsuit, which literally no lawyer would take. You also don't get permabanned from a single game.

Normally I'd just ask for chatlogs, but since you have the guts to do the legal route, you might as well go all the way!!!

You already agreed that you should never get refunds from League if you were banned. So, you denied yourself.

2.2. What happens if my account is terminated? (No LoL for you.) If your account is terminated, you’ll no longer have access to it, including any of the associated data or content (e.g., champions, skins, Riot Points, etc.). You’ll not be entitled to any refunds and we’ll have no liability to you. We also reserve the right to terminate any other accounts you may have created, as well as your access to any other Riot Services (also without any refunds or liability to you).

So nope. No refunds for you. That's what happens when you sign a contract or agreed to a policy and don't read it.

Well, I always found that my credit card company sided with me when I told them to refund something because I was dissatisfied with it and the company I purchased it from wouldn't refund from their end, but I guess thats what 840 gets you :D

If you decide to threaten a lawsuit in a support ticket, the support personnel will be unable to assist you.

Once you bring that threat, only the company lawyers are authorized to communicate with you after that point.

you arent going to pay a lawyer to sue riot

you got banned for breaking the TOS and wasnt 1st time you did or 1st time you been punished

Where did you learn to count? Syndra only died at bot 2 times. Not off to a good start on the truthfulness. Kind of doubt what you said about the chat logs...

a) You were toxic regardless. Their actions do not justify yours, unless their action is literally forcing you to take that action (Such as them actually holding a gun to your head and ordering you to flame your team). The ban is not wrongful. Also, you got permabanned, which can only happen if you were punished in the past, so you're hardly innocent.

b) ToS says they have absolutely no obligation to do so. If they do, it's solely because they felt like doing so.

c) The ToS is a legally binding agreement. You signed away your right to sue them over that by playing League. You actually have no legal right to sue them over them banning you and not giving you your money back.

In any case, you wouldn't contact Riot about this, you'd contact Riot Support, which is in part an outsourced commodity managed by another company. I believe they made this barrier as a means to prevent anything that "Riot Support" says being held directly against Riot Games itself, which is a smart business move!

Did you READ the term and conditions of League? In the case if you're account gets banned they DO NOT refund anything you paid on the game. Sorry for the ban though, feels bad, but still, you said it yourself, you did say something offensive...
