like it's so lame, i just wanna play the game, i don't mind if the game goes bad, like at all.... shit happens, but apparently im alone on that cause the second the game starts just slightly tiping in the enemies favor, people just start giving up .... like i understand why it exists, i've had games were leaving the base wasn't even really possible. but most games aren't like that (not even close tbh), and people are just being pussies and overusing the most boring way to end a game on both sides i've ever fucking seen, it feels so fucking bad clicking that "yes" and it feels so unsatisfying being half the fucking map away pushing your third tower only to have your one good game of the day stripped away cause the enemies are a bunch of fucking pansies ... maybe im overreacting but it's honestly so fucking lame and overused like at least fucking try

Personal experience, I love surrender votes. Some times a hyper carry that supposed to be weak early gets fed. That’s gg. There’s no point in the remaining game that they “fall off” or anyone is stronger than them. They are built to 1v9 late game down to the core of the champion design.

When I see people not surrendering vs the 7/1 Kassadin or Twitch, I just wonder what they think will happen? These are champions built to kill TEAMS of champions instantly late game, and so if they can do that NOW, what do they see happening? That they haven’t already proven themselves the better player by getting those 7 kills while in the weak part of their champions scaling? That they can win by focusing a champion DESIGNED to escape or not care?

I get sometimes the surrender is early, but given that it requires 4 people to surrender after 20 minutes, if your not the one surrendering, their all probably seeing something your not. I don’t mind losing, but it had better be because I lost a fair and even fight, not a slog fest where the only reason the enemy team hasn’t ended the game yet is lack of cordination.

A 30 minute game of slowly dying is not playing the game, it’s a waste of time. Being able to read more than the kill score line is important. Tower gold, objectives like dragons, cs scores, map pressure. When I surrender and some masochist doesn’t saying “we can win”, they are ignoring one or all of these.

Bit of an angry rant, but I get so tired of being held hostage in my games when all the enemy team has to do is group mid and take our base. I usually wind up all chatting

“I’m being held hostage by my team, please take baron and group as 5 mid, we can’t stop you though I’ll do my best to”

These games are OVER, the enemy just doesn’t coordinate enough to actually do it.... I went straight back into rant mode. Sorry... sorta of.

i know your pain. i absolutely fucking hate people who cry and want to ff after losing first tower or even first blood. and i did only norms where nothing is at risk. if you want to play the game then play the fucking game. don't join then 5 minutes later "oh we're losing so fuck this shit let's ff" there absolutely no reason to ff.

"it's 4v5" oh fucking well. it's just a slight disadvantage. not the end of the world. "so and so is trolling" mute, ignore, report them and move on. "the enemy is so fed" and? who fucking cares. the goal is to destroy nexus. not get fed to hell and back. "i need to leave" should have thought about that before starting. "getting one shotted is no fun" how the hell do you think the enemy feels when you are the one one shotting them? "i play to win" you can't win without losing. if you can't handle losing then don't play the game.

when i played and my team ff i outright skipped the honor cause no one deserves it. and if i am extremely mad my team spams ff i'd report the person who started the ff vote for grieving and giving up (which is reportable but i bet $100 none of you care). when we say no we mean no. we ain't gonna change our minds 5 minutes later. seriously there should be a penalty for calling and spamming surrender. cause right now there is none and people know this. that is why they spam ff until it goes through.

If it makes you mad, meh... you might be taking it too seriously. Maybe not, idk. Ive gotten good at just ignoring it, continuing to play on as if nothing ever happened. Dont feed the forfeiters by arguing how you can win still. Just try to keep the game alive and they tend to keep trying from my experience. Thats all that matters.

The reason why is simple. Time. People want to accept the lose and just move on to the next match. People can play more games faster if people surrender and move on. Its also one of the common things players do in higher elos because it saves so much time in each match. Most matches are very clear losses or wins, and its very rare for teams to be even in this meta.
