Can Riot unban accounts?

I've been thinking about this since a long time ago, but never asked here in the boards. Lets just imagine that someone tooks your account, starting for getting your IP and then email stuff. After stealing your own account and then the person who stole plays a match with third party application, most likely script, or flaming with the purpose of getting the account PERMABANNED.

Is possible to Riot review this cases? I never saw someone in this case, but I bet it already happened. Thank you for your attention.

I have no doubt that they can, but I was told directly by a rioter via email convo that they WON'T ever unban an account. If I ever found out someone else got their account unbanned I would literally drive to their hq in California to voice my displeasure.

I WAS BANNED TODAY PERMANENTLY CUZ I ''WAS TOXIC'' in a normal game like OMG riot this is redicilous omfg please can some rioter contact me through email or something ????? im very annoyed by that today

They definitly CAN unban you, if they want to is the other question. Problem is that it is your own responsibility to make sure that no one gets the log in information for your account. That's why I would guess that your chances are low to actually get the account back, but if you ask the Riot Support nicely and can prove that the account belongs to you but someone else played on it, then I'm sure they will unban you.

they can and have unbanned accounts but only if wrongly banned, for example banned for boosting but proven otherwise by recorded streams, or something like that.

hacks however is account security which you are supposed to be responsible for so if someone hacked your account and got it banned and that ban is legit it's gonna likely stick

Everyone else told you that yes, Riot can unban accounts. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new is the place to do it.

Well,i ve got some news for you fellas...There s a youtube video about a guy whos account got unbanned after he was begging for them to do so.There is an evidence in a video,his ticket got transported into player behaviour team.And,after like a week or so rioter said its unbanned.i cant link the video because im on tablet rn,but you can check it out,the guys name is frostx or something.just enter how to unban lol account.so rioters,can you explain us that :P

that's what im literally going through right now somebody did run a script on my account so i got perma'ed so riot's emails are saying that i did use it or something like that which why im still shocked since the ban i hope someone can help me to convince them or to prove that i wasnt the user of those 3rd party programs

i'm banned too but for real some people are born just to tilt others and somepeople cant control their anger at a certain point , there is what happend with me lost gold promos and had like 15 match lose streak and i was playing with people who are saying "ez""ez""ezzzz" the whole time and that just tilts me all i did was saying "ffs stop and shut up" and other stuff like that i didn't flame a specefic person and to be more honest and cleaar someone was flaming me and saying bad stuff to me i said "talk to me nice idiot" yep thats it and also saying to people who are feeding there scores like someone is 2/9 i say "you're 2/9" is that a thing to get perma banned for riot i never got instant feed back on my reports even tho people are trolling on purpose anyway your banning system is unfair and u cant just control it like there's alot of flamers who are free and playing on their accounts now and probably there are hundreds who are flaming right now while im typing and you're reading this comment

of course they won't unban an account, 5 years old? have a whole new account? at almost the same level? nah they won't unban it because uhhhhh well uhhhhh yeeee.... its like prison, if you f*** up once, beat someone up, and going to jail for 1-2 years, when you get out they dont ACTUALLY think you're rehabilitated, it's just to put fear into people and set them straight ya know, it's like "don't F*** up or you will pay the ultimate price"

Im trully sory for this what happend last night but I one of my friends was wanted to play :DD I was like ok... Let's see how u can play.He really wasn't that bad but I was needed to go to the shop.I was back after 3 hours beacuse after the shop I was having a little work.I called him and told him that I will be back after more hours.He told me that he will countinue to play.I said him okay.When I got back he said me that he is banned.I look the reason and the reason was "Flaming" I was really mad.Can you unnban my account pls? :(

I love how you have a legitimate question and all these people come in and start begging for unbans when they themselves describe it as being desserved....

To answer your question OP; yes, riot can unban accounts, and if you can prove your account was compromised im sure theyd be more than happy to help.

If its just someone else logged onto your account from your own computer... Youre SoL.

Yes but they can say that your account (and what is done on it) is your responsibility and the onus is on you to protect it from this sort of thing.
