Here is what I really don't get about Riot

UPDATE: FIRST OF ALL, IF YOU DON'T READ THE WHOLE POST, THEN PLEASE DON'T WASTE EVERYONE'S TIMES BY REPLYING

Soooo.. we have 2 forms of communication in League of Legends right now: Pings and Chat.

If someone abuses chat, we mute that person's chat. If someone abuses ping, we mute that person's pings... Oh wait...

Exactly. People have been requesting for muting a player's pings for the longest time. Why has this not been implemented yet? Do you want players to be able to act toxic while also not allowing the player being abused to be able to mute it?

I understand you want the "/mute all" people to still have a way to communicate with their teammates. But if you're really that worried about players using "/mute all" on pings and chat, then how about this: Every time a player decides to mute another's pings, an automatic ping spam report is fired through the system. So if someone mutes another's pings just because they feel like it, they will wind up sending a false report.

BEFORE YOU POST READ THIS: I don't want to see anybody talk about how you can set Ping Volume to 0 in the settings, or that /ignore blocks pings.

We don't mute everyone's chat just because one person decides to abuse it, so why should we do it with pings? I'm not going to risk missing legitimate signals from three other teammates who are using the ping system properly just because one guy is acting like a child.

ALSO /IGNORE DOES NOT WORK.

/ignore does work though.

The priority list for RIOT's teams is very odd. And often when they put off something like this it's for something like the new client... which, far as I can see, was a waste with exception to making it look better; the art team did a good job.

Just don't know what they're thinking.

You'd think this simple quality of life thing would be a no brainer.

Well turn down the ping volume to zero and then look at the map, and you will see when your teammate pings. It's really easy.

This is why I rarely bother to post on the forums about my suggestions/issues with the game. And Player Support usually just has copy and paste or robot responses so I can't use that either. But then when I post on the forums, 70% of my responses are either child troll answers or people who read 1-2 sentences (if any) of the post and then decide to reply with some BS. And on top of that, the upvote/downvote system is also abused by trolls, the evidence being -4.9k upvote/downvote difference on a Riot Socrates post about the indefinite banning of Tyler1, AN INTENTIONAL FEEDER, something people complain about daily.

IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA READ THE WHOLE POST, THEN DON'T REPLY AT ALL.

/rant

P.S. I won't address this again. If you decide to post some BS, I will just ignore it and let it sit there looking stupid.
