I was permanetly banned for using third party software without even having one..?

So, I tried to log in today as casual and when I clicked the sign in button(you know on the client), a message appeared telling me my account was permanetly banned for the use of prohibited third party software.I don't even have ONE software that would be prohibited by LOL(no discord,no mklol,nothing) the only thing I do while I play is opening youtube in the background....I actually I'm desperate to find out what I did to reserve this ban...I have this account from S2 almost and I have spent a lot of hours and money into it. (excuse me for my bad english :') )

This account has been permanetly banned for the use of prohibited third part software.This kind of behaviour causes severe damage to our community and League's competitive integrity,so the action will not be reversed.

The part where it says <> breaks my heart..

I do not know what is happening to this game. I was banned three week ago for using third party software, and I saw that someone else entered on my account and played three URF games and I was banned. I send a ticket and they put me to change my email password and to secure it and same for the league account.

Yesterday I was banned for the same thing but this time nobody else entered on the account. I do not use any kind of software when I play league. Only youtube and opgg. I hope they will come with an answer for what am I banned.

Just got banned because of the same thing. looked on op.gg and looked at recent games. Yep someone got into my account and used a third party

Same thing happened to me today, hopefully Riot sees that something is going on here and is able to reverse these bans

I've seen a few of these lately, enough to make me think it's not a coincidence. IF this is a real issue, Riot refusing to reverse these bans is unacceptable.

This happened to me recently too. I thought it was wrong van but it turned out that riot found that my account got hacked and banned it immediately. I recovered the acc the next day tho

I got an email a few days ago, for the same reason. The only thing that I can possibly think of was when I tried to change the language of the Champion IG qoutes by switching some audio files... 2 years ago. And it didn't even work, the game instantly verified local files and basically reinstalled. I don't even use any third party programs (now or then), much less try to maliciously cheat :( I've also gotten emails a few weeks ago saying someone was trying to log into my account from a new computer, enter this security code to make it make work etc, but I don't think I've noticed any weird games on op.gg

I got permabanned during a time in which I didnt even play LoL because of "3rd party programs". I submited a ticket and the person i talked to limited himself to saying "i looked into it and I'm sure your guilty, trust me, I'm experienced and I know what I'm doing". Pretty much an answer like this every time. Now, I never used such things nor didn't even I play during that time which is infuriating. Its a 6 or 8 years old account with a lot of money spent and the guy told me "theres no premium accounts". Never seen customer service like this. Maybe I was unlucky with the person I got. I'm opening a second ticket now. I'm not making a new account for sure after getting treated like this and I intend to expose this situation as much as I can. This is fraud, pure and simple. And I'm pretty sure the "3rd party" they detected are the WoW add0ns for raiding which is hilarious. Nice proficiency ;)

I'm seriously losing my patience with this. third ticket in and all I'm getting is as simple as "we looked into it, your ban is right. see ya". Any1 else tried asking their bank for money back on purchases from a long time ago? If they getting my account, i want my money back. This is fraud, plain and simple. If they make mistakes they need to be willing to fix them.

Hey I was recently banned for the same thing, someone’s hacked my account and got me banned after years of playing league and god knows how much money on skins etc

my first ticket was replied to with an infuriating “oh well your account, so deal with being hacked” so I sent a second separate ticket saying the same thing, but got a response saying that my “issue was being dealt with by (my first ticket)”. To those saying to send another ticket, how do you get another separate response without them just annoying referring you to your first ticket 🙄

I too have had this I havnt played the game for 3 months and its says on op.gg I played 7 days ago with kalista looool kalista( as if ive ever played with her ) I must have been hacked aswell please help

Same thing just happened to me. About 2 weeks ago I noticed someone played a ranked game on my account but I ignored it like an idiot, figured it was my uncle who went on my acc but it wasnt. Just tried logging in tonight and it says I was banned for using third party software. I've had the account since 2013

Same happend me, noticed it when I got home from the hospital, was going to login and noticed I was banned for third party software and did some research and found 3 games for 2 weeks ago that I havent played I was in the hospital when those gamea were played. And riot respons was u should have taken care of your account better and that they wont lift my ban..

I got this as well i am kinda upset, I didn't use any sort of Third party software and My account is permanently banned now. I have spent a lot of money of that account and I have a lot of skins

Same thing here. Just installed League after a two year break and got this message: "This account has been permanetly banned for the use of prohibited third part software.This kind of behaviour causes severe damage to our community and League's competitive integrity,so the action will not be reversed." Checked my match history and found some few games that I havent played, after which im banned now ofcourse. This is such a bs, will try to get my account back somehow.

Check your match history. If there are any matches you don't recognize, submit a ticket. Does anyone else you know have access to your PC or your account?

Same thing happened to me. Unfortunately most of the money I've given Riot Games was in prepaid debit cards, about $1000 total. I was in the hospital to remove an aneurysm, and after a lot of therapy I was excited to play League of Legends again only to see I was permabanned for this. I never used any programs, I didnt have discord until after finding out i was banned, I never linked my account with anything, I have no idea what I could have possibly done to break this rule.

It is clear that Riot Games has made a fatal error by committing to these mass bans, innocent users are losing accounts dating back up to 10+ years old and there was nothing that they could do about it. U can secure your account and still get hacked and then banned, and no matter how many tickets you send or how much money you've spent you will not get your account back.

Riot Games would rather lose dedicated veteran players forever than attempt to be professional. They don't extend any exact details probably because they don't have adequate proof. I will continue to send tickets but I know I will never get that account back.

Thank you, Riot Games, for punishing your users for your own pathetic inability to manage your top-down moba game while international game companies more than twice your size and age not only don't experience these issues but employ less than a thousand people.

I don't think there's anything the boards can do to help you. You can't prove that you didn't use 3rd party programs and Riot can't reveal what they detected and how.

I've seen people get their bans reversed for this by sending in ticket after ticket. Dont bump the same ticket, as that moves it back to the bottom of the pile. Just make a new one when they close the current one. Eventually you may get the right person at the right time to look deeper into it. Good luck.

Any new kb or mice? Both of those can have macros that can trigger that stuff. Send a ticket, you may have even been hacked.

I just got an Email saying I was banned for the same reason. I've been playing on this account since release, and ive only been playing TFT the past month. I use a Corsair Mouse, wondering if the CUE program is ILLEGAL to Riots robots. This is insane, and I want my account back asap from these butt faces.
