So we know "gg ez" isn't punishable, but how far from there are we allowed to go before it is?
Would a comeback like "Ez like your mother, so I guess it was pretty ez" go too far?

I always report people who say "gg ez" due to unsportsmanlike attitude. The majority of players who has unsportsmanlike attitudes are normally toxic in the majority of their games. I normally get a feedback from IFS when I report these individuals. But yes, that is taking too far even when gg ez is a good way to get reported in the first place.
GG EZ is flagged as negative by the IFS, and contributes to an account's eventual punishment. By itself, it isn't that negative. To reach a punishment would take either additional negative lines or a very consistent use of that phrase alongside being very consistently reported.
But, either way, I wouldn't want to use up the system's leeway for toxicity on such a silly thing.
i report it. it's simply mean-spirited, and that's all it takes to sap some fun out of the days of other players. there's no real defense for it that isn't inconsiderate on some level.
that being said i don't find it bannable, but personally i think some action should be taken if someone is being reported for it and that is a trend for them
I don't think 1 negative line in an entire chat log is ever going to result in a punishment, unless you use a zero tolerance word.
Like Silent Gravity said while it's definitely unsportsmanlike conduct, it's not punishable if that was the only negative thing said. However, if you're constantly spamming ggez and/or are showcasing other negative behavior in addition to that then it can very well factor into a valid punishment.
Yea Riot should probably drop the "competitive bsing is fine. hate speech not so much" when saying "gg ez" counts as "unsportsmanlike behavior that will contribute towards a punishment as severe as those who type racial slurs and encourage self-harm."
I assume if u refer to Ez as a korean comfort girl u get banned XD
