Why are people so toxic?

I am a new player who enjoys the gameplay of league. Yeah I am learning and will have bad games and even streaks as I learn all the mechanics and champs of this game. I have been flamed more times than not and it doesn't feel inviting to me. I would love to find people who aren't super toxic and want to enjoy the game like I do! So please send me an friend invite if you want to play with a non toxic player. Hope this community changes a bit with their attitude towards others.

If in your own words you are still learning, you should not be playing Ranked.

A lot of people with poor self esteem align their personality and identity with how good they are in a video game, so when they lose, it feels like they are a loser IRL and lash out at people they feel are responsible for making them lose.

It’s pretty sad TBH and they fill the Player Behavior boards trying to justify their toxicity like it’s a normal thing

I explain the problem with the game and why it is the way it is in this thread You notice none of them apparently understand the big words I used and were confused by what I said. Cause majority of the reply is 10 year old saying "What?" cause they don't understand English on English board.

The game become competitive when it is not a competitive game. Most people are to scared to say a single word in chat ( which is stupid for a multiplayer game) so typically mute all chat at game start than only say something when they get upset cause they never learn to cope with human skills.

You sound like the most toxic type of person there is. What do you do to you friends if they do not meet your standards? Not everyone is toxic, and it is a heated game where tensions can run high. Everyone has at least one moment where they slipped and flamed someone.
