anybody here want to explain to me how going 4/10 in a normal game playing yi top to have fun is permanently bannable, but a katarina constantly calling me a r%%%%% in team chat then pretending to not say anything and telling the enemy team to report me in all chat isnt bannable at all and recieves 0 attention by riot. I love playing league but the fact that i cant even do bad in a normal game without getting permanently banned is just stupid and makes 0 sense
This isn't a zero sum punishment system. One person doing punishable things and getting punished doesn't mean that another person doing punishable things wont be punished.
If you feel like your punishment was a mistake you can send a ticket to support, but one person getting away with something doesn't mean that it's allowed. It means that they were missed by the system.
Btw the message that tells you that your report resulted in a punishment is known to be sporadic. So not receiving that message is not proof that they wont be held accountable for their behavior.
Edit: I'm guessing that you've recently been on a 14-day ban, which would make your account on thin ice for a while. This also causes your next punishment to be a perma-ban. If you haven't had a 14-day ban recently definitely bring it up with support.
I feel we need much more context to understand what happened here. Personal posts to PB tend to be unreliable with respect to providing all of the relevant details.
