How is this okay?

So basically if by any means, I decide to call out this particular player for his or her behavior, (we were just 9 minutes in the game and this player was already 0-6-0, he or she wasn't really running it down mid but looking at his or her match history it seems like it's not just one game, but that he/she often does this) why is the chance higher for me to get chat restricted or even banned for toxicity while he or she can go along and keep ruining other people game experience? I get it that thou shall not be toxic, but imagine deciding to hop on league everyday and in every 5 games you encounter 2 players like this, how is one supposed to keep their "cool", I think it's about time to stop putting so much effort on banning players that are toxic (because at the end of the day if someone is toxic more often than not your team will tell the toxic player to "shut it, and focus on the game" or you simply mute them and not get bothered), and see the root of the problem, aka kids like these that just ruins it for everyone.

As a matter of fact, the more strict chat is moderated, the more players will look to express their toxicity in terms of gameplay rather than chat, because they know chat toxicity is easy to punish for.

Now players are encountering more and more trolls, just because some sensetive players can't press the fucking mute button or ignore when being flamed. Congratulations, now the entire community has to suffer for your sensitivity

I think everyone encounters players like these, but sadly there's not much to do than just ignore in game and report after game then move on, has been a problem for a while already.

This has been going on for a while since players don't get the same treatment when they express themselves in form of trolls in-game, fix the report system already Riot.

Exactly. This is a problem with League and it is either intentional, or is a terrible example of unintended consequences. Trolls use the system against you to try to get you banned knowing they can get away with this, perhaps for years, before Riot finally does anything about them. However, players who are angered by them will get punished almost immediately. It is a completely warped system.

However, if you complain about the system you are told "ignore them" or "mute them" which literally solves nothing whatsoever. Worse still, not only will nothing happen to them but the frequency of this is such that the game is almost unplayable at this point. The entire system is setup to not only allow this behavior but actively promote it.

I have no motivation to try I just wanna learn Zoe

All he's gonna learn that way is how the respawn timer scales with game length

because what's the point in calling them out? nothing you can say will make them go ''oh my gosh, you're right, my bad, I'll play the game normally now and stop running down mid'' so why do it?

Yes, please improve your trolling detection for the love of god. But the system is already in place. I dont think Riot is "putting so much effort" into banning toxic players. They have pretty simple rules and a system that sort of runs itself.

Agreed, wrote something similar 3 weeks ago.
