why is it when you fall behind in game and get flamed and talk back, you still get suspended?
I just received a 14 day suspension after sitting through a game with a top laner and support who consistently flamed me throughout the game because I refused to tower dive at level 3 for our top laner. I took 1 turret hit and bailed because I was going to die and possibly not even get the kill, like anyone else in their right mind would actually do. I'm sorry and I realize people shouldn't respond to toxic behavior but after a while it's just stupid to sit there and have people tell you to refund your skin or that you're a f***ing r%%%%% and that it's gg already. Does the report system even look into the context of which things are said and what is reported? or does it just look for keywords? All I said was that they were r%%%%%ed and that they sucked while I'm being called a monkey, a r%%%%%, constantly for about 20 minutes. I don't even know how to mute people in game like people tell me which is kinda sad because I'm level 42 or something but mostly played vs bots to level up and never needed the feature. This was ranked btw so I understand people get upset over bad plays but if other people instigate the argument, does riot not forgive people who respond to this kind of behavior?
edit: I edited out some words as I realize people don't want to read that kind of stuff, but also noticed when I hit edit that it changed some words randomly to gibberish... not sure if that's a bug or not.
edit edit: I appreciate all the feedback and will think about how and what I say if I say anything at all. I see where the mute button is now and will be using it in the future. I didn't realize there are bannable words or auto-punish words so it makes more sense. For people who deal with a lot of ridiculousness in a day I hope you guys don't respond as I did and get suspended. Just step away or find that mute button <3
