Explanation why Dota's moderation system is 100% times better than League

The most important thing is that in Dota there is no such thing as perma ban because there you use your Steam account as Dota account which means you can instantly take the law at your side if anything happens against your account not this ridiculous random chinese system that league has. The maximum ban that you can get in Dota is 24 hours not being able to write anything if you are toxic and you must win 1 to 3 games low priority queue if you are a leaver/afker but even to get that you need to try really really hard but still this is not why its better.

The real reason is that Valve understands how moba games work, unlike Riot who are 0% experienced , they understand that Mobas by nature will always have the most frustrating and negative enviroment that exists in the gaming industry and because they understand that they dont force the players to be depended on the other 4 people of their team, the reward system is a lot different.

In Dota you get your rewards by: -The time that you spend in the game , how many hours you played etc -How good you played, it has a full calculator of your own skills it counts how much you assisted, how much you fought enemy heroes, how much siege damage you did etc.

In League of Legends you get your rewards by: -Winning games.

This is the huge mistake that Riot did, by putting the rewards on winning games it means that you force the people to be 100% depended on what the others on their team do, including afkers/trolls/intentional feeders so by this you increase your game toxicity as high as possible and together with your very weird ban system you ban them for your own bad management. You basically taunt the players in every possible way to be toxic and then you ban them on top of this like a perfect trap. Even the ranked system in league should be based on the player's skills and not on wins/defeats right now its not serious at all and your division means literaly nothing at all.

"Valve reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your account, refuse service to you, or cancel orders."

And a similar section can be found in steam's terms and conditions as well.

The law is on Riot's side. Your account in LoL is not your property no matter how much money you spend on it. You are required to accept these terms and conditions before you are allowed to play.

Most of my games in League have been fun and stress free both in and out of ranked. I owe that in part to the elimination and moderation of negative players.

they (Valve) dont force the players to be depended on the other 4 people of their team

Announced several months ago that LoL will be rewarding players more for their individual performance.

Even the ranked system in league should be based on the player's skills and not on wins/defeats right now its not serious at all .

Competing in a team game requires the entire team to perform well. You aren't going to win any contests in any team format if your team loses no matter how skilled you think you are.

I just read what you said..the "toxicity" part is meh..but you are actually right..1 question..does dota give you an account?you own your own account there?

Yeah... actually I think if you got banned in DoTa it would be worse. Both Steam and Dota are owned by Valve, and when you sign up there is a similar thing to when you sign up to LoL, basically they can ban your account for any reason if they want. If you cheat/feed/are toxic ect on LoL you get an escalating series of punishments. If you do the same on Dota, while they may be more lenient to begin with, there can be far harsher rewards. My cousin decided to use some sort of script/hack to see the whole map, and was banned by VAC... they didn't just ban his DoTa account, they banned his entire steam account which had well over 200 games on it.
