Great report system Riot

Hello Summoners,

I'm making this post, because I think reporting and punishing people for "flaming" is really getting out of hand. The whole system is broken and bad as it is. Your only real option is to mute people who start flaming you - the problem with this is that you can't read any constructive idea from them later in the game. You can't even tell people to shut up and play, it's like Riot is defending 10 year old kids who are getting offended by everything. It just reminds me of the "PC babies" from South Park.

On the other hand, toxicity really should be punished, but not like this. People who are writing paragraphs of insults while standing in the fountain or running into the enemy team, because they can't really pay attention.

I just got punished for the following chat-log and I find it hilaroius, pre-school time. Let me know if you think I'm actually toxic here and I'm wrong with wiriting these, I accept your opinion. I'm just curious what you think.

Full chat-log:

In-Game Síva: nah sry Síva: late Síva: stfu Síva: strfu Síva: flame me more Síva: na ez Síva: ok report oyurself too Síva: i just said what u did Síva: x9 ezreal for flame ty

i'd trust a screenshot over the text any day to see if it's correct. more often than not it's 3 games not a single one.

LoL this whole chatlog is taken from a kindergarten where two 4 year olds argue about who plays with the toy train xDD

I'm sorry for you being punished FOR THIS. But you should really learn that Rito is really catering the worst crybabies in the world. The only way to not get punished is to write only nice things, but not too much. But not using the chat is the most safe thing to do :)

Try to submit a support ticket, i doubt they will revert it, but at least if the agent you get has a little common sense will have a good laugh xD And say goodbye to the honor :\

What was your punishment? Without knowing, I'm going to assume it's a chat restriction of some kind, which is warranted for this.

You told someone to shut up twice, threatened to report, and asked for reports. All of which are punishable as low level toxicity, and would usually get a chat restriction depending on which tier you're already at.

But IF this isn't a chat restriction, you either have more games you're not showing, you edited the logs, or this game was just the final nail after being toxic multiple times with previous warnings.

The official Riot policy is actually "any negativity is punishable".

While I personally wouldn't be offended by your chat, I think you would have a hell of a time convincing Riot your weren't negative.

That is a short log, but let me ask you this? Why say "x9 ezreal for flame ty" ???? 1 report or 9 flag that game. This is the most pointless way to be toxic in even the shortest chat log. You're creating or escalating a conflict and acting like you're going to amplify a punishment or have some power over the other person... when you don't/can't.

Try not starting that conversation about report so and so, since your report does the same thing without the toxic bickering and trying to get a player ganged up on in chat. I'm betting that had way more impact than stfu strfu
