Suggestion for creating a better in-game environment

So I took a long break from the game and recently returned to find myself trying to climb the rank ladder. I hope someone at riot gets to see this and hear me out. I've been at it for several weeks now and I'm constantly met with afkers and feeders. I'm at the brink of quitting again because I'm reminded of why I stopped playing several months ago.

My first suggestion on this is the penalty for afk-ing during a game, RANKED game needs to be more severe. If a player is knowingly going into a ranked game leaves for any reason they should be banned from playing **RANKED games **again for 24 hrs. 1 afk person spoils the game not just for the 4 man on his team, but this afker is taking away the competitive relief that we all play this game for.

My second suggestion is the MMR, and matching for Solo/ Duo RANKED games. I must've been promoted and demoted about 10 times now from G4 to G5. Though my avg KDA is pretty decent, A LOT of my losses are due to afkers and feeders. MMR should be base on an individual's KDA, not the win rate. Though I don't feed, I have to suffer because a teammate is feeding? or because one member decides to come into a ranked game claiming it's his/her first time with the champ? I don't think that is fair for the players who are actually doing their best to win the game. How can you expect people to not get salty or toxic if we're constantly being met with these afk/feeders.

I hope you guys get to see this and fix find a way to resolve the problem!

So with your first suggestion, no. The reason it isn't severe is sometimes emergencies come up. These tend to be outside of our power to control. Why should I get a 24 hour lock out because somebody hit a powerpole and knocked out the power in a 10 block radius, or maybe someone in my family needs to be taken to the hospital. After it is done with, I should be able to get back to playing. If you can think of some system that doesn't penalize for these cases, then maybe.

Second idea. Slightly more reasonable but still no. That would cause more problems. Games would be less objective based and more kill focused. If the game is one sided, then the winning side will delay ending it for a better score. People would probably make/buy more accounts and sell kills to them. In game: "[All] Hello enemy team. I will do my best in this game. Donations to xxxx via paypal appreciated!" Proceeds to int. Imagine if two of those were on the same team. "We will continue and allow the game to go on once a donation is received." Team can't surrender. Basically, if I wanted to play deathmatch, I would go play a shooter not a moba. Champs with globals would be pick or ban since it would be easier to get assists with them.

I agree, if you can't stay for a ranked, the punishment MUST be severe because so many people get punished too. Emergency? Still should be punished with equal severity. Because riot doesn't seem to care that if there's an afk, the team shouldn't lose their lp if there's an "emergency" but guess what? THEY DON'T CARE. So why does riot care about giving the afkers a little punishment but not helping out the people who did NOTHING wrong? It's ridiculous, I had TWO afkers (duo) bot lane, game ended in 15 mins, my lp went from 80 to 60 something, SO FRUSTRATING.
