Why is cursing in-game deemed an automatic toxic auto-ban?

I love Twitch mostly because I get to see how uptight most streamers are. I had virgin ears until I stumbled upon doublelift's stream and heard him and all of his fanboys in the background cursing like it was going out of style.

Phreak, Trick2g, etc. get a free pass to call others 'f**king %%%g*ts' because they don't actually type it in game, and the 9 other people in their game don't see the words. However, the THOUSANDS of people watching their streams hear and see the actual shit going on.

How come Rioters and people like Rage2g don't get into any trouble? You gotta be shitting me if you think that just because they don't type it into text, they don't deserve a mute or ban.

On the other hand, if someone went ahead and called out someone in chat, they'd get a 52 week suspension, no dinner for a week, fined $500(Riot loves being greedy with that money), and said person will have to wear an ankle bracelet so that Riot knows when they leave their house.

What gives? Why do messages or lack thereof determine a ban? A toxic player is toxic, and if you spend 5 minutes watching half of the popular streamers (many of whom Riot gives free accounts to[LCS]), you'd have a good enough vocabulary to become a sailor the very next day.

Phuck Ritos hypocrisy.

Swearing is not a ban worthy offense. For instance if I call myself a fucking idiot, either on the boards or in game, I will not get punished for it.

If I call someone else a fucking idiot, however, I can be punished. It's all about the context.

The thousands of people watching their streams are most likely doing so intentionally. Players in the game, on the other hand, have no control over who they get matched with.

What is typed in chat affects the team. I may not say it out loud, but sometimes I think some pretty nasty stuff about my teammates and opponents. People need some sort of resource to vent, and speaking out loud offers them this. Like you said, the people in the game do not know what is going on. They are playing the game and are under the stipulations of Riot only, though, with what is said in the actual game. It is not hypocrisy, it is allowing people to be people. You can say whatever you want, just not directly to your teammates so that they can see it and be affected by it. And cursing in the chat, at least to my knowledge, does not get anyone banned unless there is some sort of persistence or toxicity involving hate speech attached to said swearing. If cursing in chat got you banned, League of Legends would have 5 total players.
