Now that the word "toxic" is being used more, can a rioter explain what exactly is toxicity?

After this was posted, saying how riot will not allow "toxic" players into its crafting system, can we define what is toxic and what is mean? If I were to say "You are so bad at lee sin", would that be considered toxicity? Or would "You are so bad at lee sin, go die" be referred to as toxicity? I am curious since now the word is being used for actual punishment.

To answer your question yes telling someone they are bad is considered being toxic.

Toxicity is basically the act of (Verbal Abuse) or chat harassment, it doesn't matter who starts what I can give you an example here.

. Cursing at your own teammates. . Comments Like You suck / You are bad . Anything hateful directed towards another user. . Responding back to toxicity with flaming or hate / offensive language ( Doesn't matter if someone else started it.) . Also don't threaten or ask players to report because this counts as harassment just shut up and report them.

Other forms of toxicity

. Intentionally Feeding (Which an example is basically just running out and letting the enemy kill you over and over again.)

And to define Intentionally feeding better, there is a difference between Intentionally feeding and playing badly, we all do it where it be me or someone else for example, playing bad there are so many reasons for this one reason is because the enemy gets ahead, while another reason is due to counter play, or two players who just can't play well together one of my biggest problems in League OF Legends and currently why im waiting to hopefully appeal my perm suspension because of feeding doing god awful (However in 2016 when the new season starts) you will be able to choose your own two roles and play a lot better than you could if you were in a forced role, and to learn other roles better do normal matches and let everyone know you are trying to learn the role.

The best thing to do when you got an intentional feeder on the team, is not to flame which is what as a player I have a problem with players get mad and start flamming, I mute them to avoid hearing the toxicity, and instead of the players actually doing something about the feeding I end up doing worse as a player because I can't hear the players what they are saying, and often players go full offensive when I am trying to play defensively and do better.

. The best thing you can do if feeding happens is not to throw insults but to find out what the problem is, and resolve it for example if a person is just doing bad, then go help them if you possibly can, forcing team plays is often better than the enemy getting fed and someone going down 20 kills, for example when I was playing against another play in my mid lane as nidalee he died like 8 times to me I m thinking because he was doing bad, but if players actually helped him, or if the jungler helped he could have done better he wasn't intentionally feeding.

. Going AFK or /Rage Quit is another form of toxicity.

Basically... don't be a jackass, it's really that simple.
