I want a way to leave games with trolls in them

These trolls just holds the game at hostage and makes it full of frustration and traps(baiting others to get angry so victims of trolls are apparently toxic now for calling a dickhead a dickhead). As long as they aren't afk or cursing in chat the system does nothing. It's honestly disgusting. If an automatic system can't punish them, at least give me a way to quit the game without getting leaver buster. I would rather take double the lp loss than waste 30-40 minute(NA never surrenders idk why) with these trolls.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't think that is a good option. rather, I think a kick option would be nice. having 1 person feed every lane kinda makes it suck for everyone. and while you should still play and try to win, having someone purposefully helping the enemy team should be something that should be fixed. not after the game when you waste 40 minutes, but during.

low elo(anything under d3) can and will make game changing throws.

You want to quit a game you have a chance at winning without taking a punishment.......

unless 5/5 people on your team are aiming to not win, you have a chance at winning

Can you elaborate on how a troll prevents someone from wanting to win?

That's not interpolation. That's showing a difference of opinion of a circumstance. It's like a glass that is half full or half empty.

Your opinion seems to be: "I'll help a lane that can carry"

His opinion seems to be: "You are refusing to gank a lane, which shows uncooperative behavior"

However, I think you both have common ground in that ultimately both of your opinions are geared towards helping the team overall, just from different points of views, and thus different methodologies.

Your opinion seems to be that based on efficiency, like in the sense that if you help a lane become a hyper carry, then it can balance out the lane that lost.

His opinion seems to be based in the team viewed as a whole, almost in an emergent theory kind of way in that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and that if all 5 players can work together and all still be relevant in a team fight despite the fact that a lane lost, they'll still be able to win or have even team fights.

Am I interpreting both sides of this correctly?

I understand your frustration, however, if you have a troll teammate, stop playing to win. Change the focus of your game to mechanics. Practice last hitting, practice skill combos, practice better ward placement, practice map awareness, etc...

Same when the score is Enemy 34, and Your Team 4, because your team has two trolls who don't listen in game and everyone is feeding, then you flat out just can't care...

The worst thing is when you want to FF @ Champion select because you know its going to be bad and you can't do it.

I get where you're coming from. I really do. I hate playing with trolls. But what happens afterwards? This is a very short sighted plan because what happens to games? You have an AFKer and then a troll on your team. You're punishing 3 players extra hard.

If you say it should be OK for the other 3 people to leave, then what happens? Enemy team wins by default as everyone is AFK.

Then what happens in the grand scheme of things, everyone is always leaving games that aren't going well and can end up being a game of "I only want to play a game where I roflstomp people and leave every game that I don't"

This will destroy the queue and also ruin matchmaking.

The solution isn't letting everyone leave but the solution is to fix the trolly unsportsmanlike behavior. Why create new problems by ignoring old problems?

I want a way to quit when 4 people are flaming me... Last game I dced and got killed a few times, (how evil of me.) so all 4 felt they had to flame me in order to keep me from dcing...

OP: The problem then becomes trolls will abuse the leaver timer for double lp loss (they are playing to lose anyhow...) and make every game a 4v5... we can't really have your solution because it just causes another problem...

One problem is that anyone can be considered a troll. What you mentioned about baiting can turn an entire team into 'trolls'. Refusing to surrender at 20 minutes when you're 3 towers ahead and 10 kills behind is considered trolling. Not following someone into an absolutely guaranteed suicide dive is trolling. Ect ect.

In order to keep the system from being abused, the troll would need to be punished (so a premade can't accuse one of their own of trolling just to get out of a loss, for example). Trolling is entirely a matter of perspective, so that really can't happen. ...if anything, maybe more staff need to be put on reading reports. Muting could be expanded/promoted more, too. Specifically muting pings should be made a part of muting chat; ping spamming is a problem, particularly after muting someone, and muting one person would be better than the current situation of having to turn off pings altogether to prevent ear-bleeding.
