The Need for More Severe Punishments

I prolonged my ranked game placements because of griefers and trolls that are rampant in leagues community. But still here we are out of my 10 placements games I only won 1 game. You want to know why?

9 of those loses had players AFK on my team from rage quitting. Sure they might get a week ban or 2 but most of these players are not new offenders and they always come right back to doing it all over again.

Riot Games seriously needs to look at IP Banning or Ranked Account Banning on players that consistently go AFK or Rage Quit in ranked games.

It is honestly almost unplayable knowing going into the game I am almost guaranteed to be in a 4v5 after 5 minutes.

Statistically speaking there's a greater chance for the enemy team to have a troll than yours as long as you don't contribute. There's 4 people on your team that could troll when there's a potential 5 on the enemy team.

I'd say Riot's already doing a great job at banning plenty of people.. taking it a step further to IP banning would do absolutely nothing, considering you can just change your IP.

It takes about 30 seconds.

My advice would be to take the game less seriously.. because winning more placements gets you nothing in retrospect. Maybe pushing you up a division.. then what? It really makes no difference.

That's statistically unusual. Can you hand on heart say you didn't say or do anything that would contribute to people rage quitting?

How do you know this?
