My Personal Opinion About Season End Rewards Eligibility

Personally I think that's it's really unfair.

I've struggled with reaching the level 1 honor, and when I did I just kinda stopped getting any checkpoints. It has been well over 4 months (or more, can't remember) and I've still been stuck on the level 1 honor. In my most recent games I've literally had to beg my teammates to honor me just so I can get my season rewards.

I'm sad to say that despite all my effort, trying to be a good teammate, learning self-control and trying my best NOT to tilt my teammates.. It's all for nothing at the end.

if you're only honorable just for the sake of rewards then you don't deserve them in the first place

Begging for Honors doesn't really help you get anywhere. If you want Honors, be honorable. Even if it's just small things like saying "GJ" whenever someone scores a kill or whatever, you kinda have to show that you're worth Honoring. Begging doesn't have that kind of effect.

I feel ya.

The whole year I'm perfect, I slip up once and call my inting jungler useless and to uninstall. I get a 5 game chat restriction. So it kicks me from honor 4 checkpoint 2 to honor 1, then LOCKS MY HONOR FOR A MONTH. Now I'm stuck at honor 1 checkpoint 2.

You still have time to get to h2. Just play lots of games, make sure you dont get validly reported (includes mild toxicity like asking for reports), and honor someone at the end of the game.

Team honor bonus helps you progress.

best thing to do is just don't type at all. From what I understand you can get honors in bots easier then normals, because none really care who did what sick play or who got the pentakill and only honor those people.

Best way to get honored isnt being nice, friendly, energetic, or typing lots of happy emojis like ^_^. Its literally just carry the game. Be good and you get honored. Doesnt really help it seems like people are much less likely to honor anyone after a loss. Pretty clear failure of a system.

So if you've hit a road block in getting checkpoints, it's probably because you're typing things that are boarderline punishable but not over the line to get you a chat restriction.

Some people have reported success with unbinding their enter key.

If you're playing toxically like inting or trolling or afking, then you should pray you don't get permabanned and stop inting, trolling, and afking ASAP.

Two good ways to gain/regain honor

Don't let yourself get baited into arguing. You'd be surprised how often people honor someone who spent an entire game getting harassed and refused to respond. If you have to mute to avoid an argument, just mute. Don't even bother mentioning it.
Give honor. Everyone an honor buff if the whole team gives out honor. Yeah, it doesn't happen every time, but there's no loss and possible gain. It'll also give you a reason to look for honorable behavior from your team, rather than expecting the worst.
